Discovery responses were submitted with incorrect information, and a motion to compel was filed after the court's 45-day deadline that also missing separate statements Because of their failure, my hearing was dismissed by the judge. This directly caused financial loss and severely compromised my case. Despite paying thousands of dollars, I received no meaningful legal support. The only time they contacted me was to demand payment. When I requested accountability and a refund due to their mistakes, they refused to accept responsibility--even after the judge dismissed the hearing. She ultimately moved to withdraw close to trial, leaving me in a stressful position trying to figure things out while my case was still active. Another major issue- she rarely appears at hearings herself. Instead, her associate, Aniko, is sent in her place. This was not something that Lauren does not clearly explain during the consultation process! The communication overall was incredibly poor. On the morning of an ex parte hearing, I received a text from Lauren saying, "Court is looking for you. Are you on your way?".. despite never being clearly told the hearing date or time. When I asked where that information had been provided, I was directed back to the filing itself, which did not list a hearing date. At that point, there was still no meaningful trial preparation or evidence package completed for my case.
