I really wanted to find a long term lawn care person... but this wasn't it. When I messaged for a quote they did get right back to me. He came out relatively quickly and did a site visit to give me a bid although the day after he said he would initially be out which caused me to change plans and use two days to get bid. The bid was very reasonable - about an acre for 120 + grass removal. I accepted and he said he would be back Thursday or Friday the next week. Both days came and went then I got a message that he would be there Saturday... I was supposed to be off the 2 days he told me to expect him but was working on Saturday. When I came home the lawn still was not mowed. I then got a text and he said I hadn't accepted the invoice he had sent me via text. I told him I didn't know I needed to and asked about some extra charges on the invoice - as it turns out he accidentally added taxes for a few different locales on my bill. The bill was corrected and I accepted the invoice. He (or an employee) showed up to mow - almost 2 weeks after the initial bid and a week after the first scheduled time - but didn't bring their riding lawn mower and only finished about a third of the yard due to grass height. He notified me of the issue, told me he would be out the next day with his rider to finish. He did finish mowing the yard but since he was charging extra for grass removal he sent me a message saying he got all the grass up that his rider would pull up. I thought that was odd... I waited to pay until I saw the yard - and his assessment that he got everything up that could be was not true. There were sections of the lawn that looked almost raked and other sections that were thick with grass and without tire tracks through it. It obviously had NOT been driven over. I messaged him with pictures and said either to remove the grass removal fee or come back out and finish the job. He sent me a new invoice with a reduced amount and no further communication. I saw the other reviews, I understand the nature of the work and how things may need to be fluid as far as dates/times. I even would have been fine if he had simply said that he would come back out and finish picking up the grass... and I would have given him another shot. But collectively the missed dates for the bid, missed dates for the mowing, the first trip out being unprepared - despite having seen and bid the job, failing to finish picking up the grass and finally not coming out and finishing the grass removal - I just cannot do business with this kind of performance.. and I really wanted to. He did remove the grass removal fee, that was a positive...I regretfully cannot recommend this company and will be looking again. read more

Came out and did part of the requested work and said he would be back in a couple of days to finish. Still sent me an invoice for the full amount because he said he was doing the missed work "for free". Well that doesn't work with me because I asked for it ALL TO BE DONE and part of the initial bid. We went back and forth in messages and he agreed to complete the work and I finally paid. He never returned to complete the job and never communicated after. Had to hire a new landscaper. Responsive, on time, great communication and a job well done. These folks cleaned up around a building in aberdeen for me: trimming the overgrowth, cleaning up rubbish and laying weed barriers and beauty bark. They were on time and worked hard. Alberto is amazing. He gave me a fair quote for the work I asked for. He was not able to finish the work in the same day but said he would be back the next day to finish. I asked him if he wanted half the agreed upon cost and he politely said no he would be back to finish the next morning. All I have to say this is an honorable and honest man that says what he quoted you. I now have him on a 2-3 week schedule to maintain my yard and could not be happier. Yard was very overgrown and hadn't been maintained. It had to be prepared for the home to be listed for sale. This landscaping company did a terrific job! Their communication and efficiency was super and the result perfect.

Alberto was referred by my neighbor who works at Seabrook when we could not connect with a landsacaper. He can to the house, walked around with me to see the areas of my concern and, even better pointed out things that would make my care of the area easier and better. I received an estimated cost for the plan and agreed. It took a couple of days but at completion things have never looked better. Trees were shaped, gardens weeded and mulched. We live Ocean Shores so we have a lot gorse and scotch broom. He removed those leaving the beach grass in areas of the yard where we do not have yard. He even dug and transplanted a tree near my new garage. We have an agreement of monthly, except during real winter time, to keep the work he did up to snuff. Lastly we have a chain-link fence surrounding the back yard for our dog's safety. He opened area around the fence so I can take my mower to maintain it. We have a coyote problem for the dogs safety and the border let us see the traffic of wild animals and can protect our dogs if they get busy. If you need someone to analyze your yard and work a plan to make it its best, I highly and whole-heartedly recommend Alberto's business. I am pleased to recommend Alberto! We had Gomez Landscaping go out to our Ocean Shores property, they were very easy to communicate with and did the job exactly like we wanted. Our lawn was cut perfect, they removed a fallen branch and edged and blew things nice and clean. It looked amazing when we got there and we were ready to camp and did not need to do anything.
