No response. 8 days go by, I call, no answer, then leave a message, no response. I even texted him since he was communicating to me about scheduling the bid through texting, no response. 10 days go by, I call one last final time, and they actually took my phone call. Asked if I would ever hear back about the bid. He told me he'll give me a call back. He texted me a few hours later saying he is too busy and to find someone else. It's inconsiderate, because if that was the case he could've communicated that to me much sooner without me having to pester him, or at the very least called me back and let me know the situation. Only getting 2 stars because he was friendly when he came out to the house and did the bid.

True that, my bad - but I hadn't ever received the final bid! However, that was quickly rectified - got bid to me, I paid, the team showed up, worked hard, and we're very happy with the outcome. I would use again, but would be more proactive about not waiting for them to follow-through on the paperwork. To their credit, they DID show up, did the job well, though had to return for a second day to finish tree pruning (this item had apparently not been communicated to the crew, so they didn't have all the tools needed - they used what we had, but they brought their own more automated tools the next day). Again, would use them again, but just watch the paperwork process gets completed!
