Greens have very few flat areas. Pins are in tough spots. Golf is getting expensive. I bought a season card for $39 which gives me a discount Monday-Friday. Regular weekday rates are $65.00. They have senior and military rates. Lederach purchased new carts last year. They have an area to hit balls and a large putting green. They service drinks and food at Leddy's Pub. You might want to try the Big BLT..it's good. Enjoy your game and have a good round.

Just played the course again and it was so much better than in the past.They have new greens keeper…read moreand the course is so much more enjoyable to play with the current conditions. The fairways are fast , the ball rolls after the shot lands , in the past the greens were overwatered and soft. The rough is thick but not too high so it is penalizing but not unplayable like the past.It used to be challenging to even find your ball in the rough , now you'll find it and you can play it but it won't be easy to hit. The course is hard enough and it's so much more playable with shorter rough. It definitely speeds up the round not looking for balls in the rough all day. The course was In impeccable condition even though we just experienced a heat wave. A member told me about the new greens keeper and conditions and he was spot on! The course is so much better this year than in the past , if you get the opportunity to play it , do it!

The menu is tired and way over priced. The kitchen has no idea what med-rare is. The servers brough out our appitzers at the same time as your main course food was over cooked and it took away to long. Mill Creek Tennis Club isn't too far from my house and it looks like it's part of a recreational complex. There's basketball courts and a swimming pool too. There are tons of tennis courts in the back. Fred Perrin was the instructor for the class and it was very personalized (only about 3-5 people for each lesson). Fred is such a patient and knowledgeable instructor. I know I personally had no previous exposure with tennis so there was a huge learning curve for me. He never lost his patience or got frustrated with the progress of the class. He always had constructive criticism when we were doing something incorrectly. In the four classes, we learned the front and back hand swings, how to serve, how to volley and how to play a game. Every class was fun and exciting. This was one of the most rewarding deals I've gotten. I'd definitely recommend lessons from Fred.

Super easy to make a tee-time. Go to the website and chose the date/time/number of players and after creating an account, you're done. Sort of surprising that they don't make you put a card in to hold the time like several other courses do on their reservation portals, but because of what comes next, I understand why. buttervalley.teesnap.net/ A few observations: Make sure you read the fine print that the rates listed are cash only rates. If you're paying with a card, you will eat their processing charges. The course for being in January was in about as good of shape as you could expect. Good amount of mud along the pathways between holes, most of the greens were like concrete, most of the cups were filled with ice, etc. Supposedly, we had the second tee time of the day, yet magically, there were already four groups of four out playing. Hmmmm? The first few holes were log jammed but eventually the spacing thankfully improved on it's own and things got better. Here are my two pet peeves. None of the markers were out. Orange tee is where? White tee is where? The yellows were there but anything else required a bit of guess work. Here's the biggie. The yardage for the holes. The score card says X. The stone marker at the hole says Y. A few of the holes (a few par 3's from what I remember) have a marker in the ground at the tee which says Z. Why is it this confusing to just list what the yardage actually is versus having a 20-40 yard swing? Conceptually, Butter Valley is basically the cousin to Sawmill in Easton. Is this course really 4 stars? Probably not, but, I'll give it to them because they stay open year round which is a plus and you cannot beat their winter pricing to walk 18. We'll be back.

Course is stunning, but the pace of play is slow me and a buddy had a tee time for 5:48 took til…read more8:15 to get through 9, we were scheduled for 18, got back to the clubhouse which closed at 7, called the next day seeing if maybe we could get a voucher for 9 since we paid for 18 and only made it through 9, and the lady was rude on the phone saying we shouldn't have done 18 at 5:48 and that it was our fault Even though they put us in for 18. Needless to say very unhelpful staff and definitely changes my mind on going back anytime soon, next time if this happens we'll just play through the dark and see how they like it.

I went with some friends one evening, and we got a few buckets of balls to take to the driving range. Pretty affordable, and they'll lend out golf clubs, which was nice since I don't have any, and we all had a fun time hitting balls into the field. They have mini-golf and batting cages available, and I would definitely try that on a future visit. They stay open pretty late, especially on Fridays, so I'd totally try it again. I think kids would probably enjoy it as well, though probably not late at night :P
