I understand the swing so much better now and all the technology they have really appeals to the way I learn. Aaron is also very good at putting things in a way I can implement them. Sometimes he tries two or three different approaches if he sees that I am not grasping the concept. After spending a lot of time rebuilding my swing pretty much from scratch, now Aaron and I work on things I notice out on the course that need improvement. I even hit a drive 249 yards down the middle of the fairway, and several 225 yard drives. On the back nine, I was able to make par once and had a string of bogeys (as opposed to triples and snowmen). I am a brand new golfer, and have been incredibly pleased with how quickly I've developed under Jun's direction. I was apprehensive when I began taking lessons because I was intimidated with the complexity of the game, but Jun started with the basics and broke everything down so I could understand what the swing is supposed to look like. The best part about Baraban's is that all of the motions are videoed while you practice, and the instructor can play each swing back on the monitor so you see what you did right or wrong....and can show you what needs to be corrected. I can't imagine hitting balls on the range and just guessing what needs to be fixed if something isn't working right. I've found Baraban's Academy to be very affordable as well - they sell packages of lessons which work well for my situation. They also have club fittings, and many other services. An all around 5 star experience!!

Dennis set up a time for me to come back, since he wanted to spend a good bit of time with me. I was looking for irons and wedges, but ended up looking at my whole bag. I walked out with new irons, wedges and a new wood. Dennis spent almost two hours with me, and even gave me a mini lesson because my driver swing was so ugly. This is not one of the big box retailers, Dennis is a small business owner, and it shows in the amount of time he spent with me. I like his style, he's laid back, and easy going, but most of all, he's extremely knowledgeable. I've dropped back in to regrip my putter, and cut down my driver. It took 10 minutes to do. I'll never go to another big box retailer, Golf Warehouse is my new home for golf!

Next time, we will do this activity first and eat the meal after, because can help you work up an appetite. It took a moment to get the hang of the game, but it was easy to catch on to and began a competitive desire between the family. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful when it came to explaining the games and how to use the equipment. We had fun and time flew by while playing. We only paid for a half hour to try it out this first time, due to the time of night and it being unexpected. Our timing allowed us the chance to take turns for about 4-5 rounds with 3 people and make it through almost one full game before we were out of time. Overall, it was a fun family-friendly activity. I think it would be a great family night activity to redo in the new year or circle back for a friends night out experience, corporate experience, or date night.
