Relatively new carts, with GPS, in good condition too. There's still a temporary green in the middle of the fairway on the par-5 14th hole. They should probably get rid of it. It's weird and confusing. Why play to that green when the permanent 14th green is in great shape? I'm still not a huge fan of the shoehorned layout (never have been), but the course is convenient to most of my golf buddies and coworkers and it's a good value. It's awkward how 14 tee butts up against 16 fairway, right where drives on 16 land.

Course was hot but in excellent shape a lot of par 3 &4. I want to clarify such a beautiful course. Met nice people from North Carolina and West Virginia. Rangers were nice too. Once I am on the course, the experience itself is solid and worth the money. However, the behavior and attitude of the staff are unacceptable and overshadow everything else. On multiple occasions, I have been met with annoyance or outright hostility simply for checking in and paying for a round. Even worse, I have personally overheard starters and course managers making openly aggressive and disrespectful comments about paying golfers ahead of me, including statements about wanting to punch them in the face. That kind of language and mindset should never come from employees representing a golf course. I have never had an issue with the course, pace of play, or fellow golfers here. The only consistent problem is the staff. If Fox Creek wants to improve, it starts with professionalism, accountability, and hiring people who respect the customers keeping the course in business.

It's a great par 3 course with a few par 4's, which means for newer players like me it's not as challenging or intimidating, and you won't feel like you're holding up players behind you. I've played perhaps 5 rounds of Legacy in the past 3 months, and the greens have always been great, the teeboxes always in good condition, and the fairways always in nice shape as well. You'll find the occasional person who doesn't follow all the cart rules, but that's the exception not the rule. I think courses that provide carts in the regular round fee are just the best, though I know lots of people prefer walking. For the (very) casual player, the carts are cool. The course also offers a couple challenging holes, but not too many to make the game stressful. Two holes have a water hazard, one dog-legs, and there are plenty of bunkers spread around the other holes to avoid. For the most part, you can play 70% of the holes with a pitching wedge. I know this turns a lot of people off, and perhaps in the future I'll tire of it as well, but for the new player I think it's great. The driving range is also solid, but I have only used it once. The practice greens and chipping greens are great additions as well.
