During our first lesson he was able to break down each of my swings on video and explain what I needed to work on. He's was open-minded and flexible to how I needed to learn. On the first day we met, I told him my goal was to break 80 and wasn't looking for a complete overhaul of my swing. The one thing I noticed with Brian is that he's looking to work with you rather than having a single way of teaching things. We quickly determined I was more of a 'feel vs real' player rather than a technical player so he stopped showing my videos of down the line with hand positions and worked on what I should be feeling to get the proper ball flight. He's attentive, responsive, friendly and professional and most importantly, is invested in you getting better as a player. Less than a year later, I just shot a PR of 77! The sim tech was a game-changer--showing me an instant replay (on the grass!!) of my club face and impact, which made it super easy to tweak my swing right away. I can see this being the perfect spot to bring a coach, especially when the range is crowded or noisy. As a beginner, I sometimes feel a bit self-conscious getting coaching feedback at the range... so this was a great change of pace! I also had so much fun with the Puttview--it's a great way to practice putting differently (my fave games were Putt Pong and Darts). Plus, it was nice to relax in the lobby area after practicing and I definitely took advantage of the snack bar LOL. I was initially worried about parking, but there was actually tons of street parking right out front or just a block away on the residential streets. They offer golf specific fitness training, golf lessons with a PGA pro, they have a sweet 10 foot simulator so you can work on your swing with video analysis. Its a great facility and the rates are super reasonable. I've worked out with both of them and they are both great! I honestly cannot say enough good things about them, and if I could give their gym 100 stars, I would. I started training with Kim 3 years ago. I set out to just do a few training sessions to get back on track as I'd always been an exerciser but had fallen off the wagon. My experience with Kim was so postive that I kept coming back. Its three years later and I'm so glad I'm still working with her and Chris. I've lost some weight, I feel a lot stronger and healthier, and I feel more balanced in my attitudes towards food and exercise. I've lost body fat without going on a crazy fad diet. I love it! I've always gotten lots of personal attention here. Both Kim and Chris have extensive knowledge of physiology and continue to study. They are always taking classes and attending seminars so I know I'm in good hands. I've gotten the most comprehensive workouts here - strength, balance, flexibility, power, stamina... They aren't in to trends or fads. If I mention a fad diet to Kim, she has usually already studied it and can site scientific journals that refute the claims of that diet. We went on a Saturday afternoon around 5, so it was crowded as we hit a wave of people golfing. Footgolf is essentially golf but with a soccer ball and you kick the ball. The holes are much bigger as well. The only thing that is somewhat difficult is that the course runs parallel to the 9hole golf course, so you have to wait with people golfing and also, if youre not great at soccer you might be kicking the ball all over the course and need to watch out for golfers etc. It was fun for sure, but I would recommend trying to go on an off time when there aren't a lot of people golfing. Balls cost $5 to rent, so if you have a soccer ball, bring one to save on the cost.

Too many times we see 2 and ever 3 players sharing a bag. It's only a par 3 so there's no marshal. But that said majority of the time you'll be fine. It can get backed up a little. The greens and fairways can be much better. There obvous visual work that shouldn't be hard to fix, but i'ts never done. For that I rate the 3. Signs and yardages are missing but it's easy to figure out where to go . They just replaced the matts which is nice but what's great is the tree coverage to help from mishit balls and rarely hearing "FORE". The ease to play straight fairways and no slopes makes it a great place to learn. A little upkeep and enforce the rules would make it 4+ stars. Parking is easy, nice chipping and putting area to practice.
