There was barely a queue presumably because the price point was pretty high for just three rotations over twenty minutes. We decided to splurge since the nearby observation towers didn't appeal to us. The towers were targeted to families with kids. By contrast, the private cabin provided nice panoramic views primarily of the Old Port and the St Lawrence River (Photo 7). We subsequently secured better views from Kondiaronk Belvedere on top of Mount Royal. That's because the wheel reaches a height of just 200 feet. After disembarking, we had to walk through the cafe and gift shop to exit. RELATED - Exploring Montreal? Here's a collection of places I've visited and reviewed: https://yelp.to/HiASYr0QJ3

The staff is nice and efficient (there was a problem with our lane which took about 30 minutes to solve but he added the time back to our reservation). The ball selection could be better, the weights weren't written on the balls for some which would've been nice. We were a big group and they accommodated us with no issues. I recommend if you want to do an activity with friends!

They've got arcades at the entrance, and also air hockey, foosball and pool tables. They state on their website that they have 72 lanes with half for small pins and half of them for regular pin bowling. There were lanes and shoes readily available for our group of 4. The cons is that the place is showing its age--everything is old. The shoes, the machines, the balls, etc. The balls are pretty dinged up with dents in them. For the regular pin bowling, they didn't have many lighter balls. Most of them were very heavy. But that wasn't the problem--it's the fact that all the bowling balls were disgustingly greasy! People eat and put their greasy paws on the balls and it looks like the staff don't clean the balls. Since I've not gone bowling for at least a dozen years, I don't recall ever playing with greasy bowling balls. Can anyone tell me if this is the norm? We all enjoyed the small pin bowling so it was cool that there were plenty of lanes available for that. To switch lanes, you need to request that at the counter. I would go back but would bring some Lysol wipes to clean the balls before playing.

With only about 50 people in line, I had the space to move freely, look up into the treetops, and peer down into rivers and tanks without feeling rushed. It felt immersive from the start. What makes this place special is how alive it feels. No cages, no bars, just ecosystems. Birds glide overhead, and wildlife lives within carefully designed natural habitats that feel both safe and intimate. Close enough to connect, far enough to respect the wild. Accessibility was thoughtful too, with both stairs and a smooth walkway option. Getting there early made all the difference. By my second loop, the school groups had arrived and the energy shifted from calm exploration to lively chaos. The Biodome itself is massive, divided into five distinct ecosystems. One moment you're wrapped in tropical warmth, the next you're stepping into a colder, northern world. It's like walking through climates instead of hallways. Location is another win. It's right outside Viau Station, making it incredibly easy to reach. Plus, it sits alongside the Montreal Olympic Tower and the Montreal Planetarium, turning the area into a full-day adventure playground. The staff were welcoming and bilingual in French and English, adding to an already smooth experience. #tysadventures26 #SpringBreak26 #Biodome

Even adults enjoyed this, although I got shot in the face at some point. They require shoes to be removed, so make sure you let younger kids go bare feet or wear grippy socks, since some areas can get slippery. My kids and I also enjoyed the slides and some arcade games, although the claw machines are kind of cheesy. Either way, this is a great choice if you want to let your kids go crazy and if you wish to release your inner child!
