I frequently shop at this Golf Galaxy location for my golf supplies, clothing, and accessories. Unfortunately, today I experienced the worst customer service I've had here, and it came from a cashier named Desiree. This was my second time being rung up by her. When I visited on Thursday, she informed me that I would receive $10 off after spending $50. Today I returned and made a purchase of around $100, so I mentioned what she had told me previously. Instead of explaining the situation professionally, she laughed at me and said, "You must be hallucinating." I was honestly shocked. That response was completely disrespectful and inappropriate to say to a customer. If there was confusion or if the promotion only applied to that specific day, she could have simply explained that there was no reason to mock or insult me. A manager was eventually called and clarified that the promotion was only valid for that particular day. That explanation was fine, but Desiree could have handled this professionally from the start instead of making assumptions and speaking to me in such a rude manner. I spend a significant amount of money at this location and do not expect to be treated this way by someone who is supposed to represent the company. This experience was disappointing and unacceptable, and I hope management addresses this behavior moving forward. read more

Go here if you want old heads to talk to that hate their jobs. No enthusiasm at all to help encourage the game. No one at the cash register and when employees do see you at the cash register, they don't bother to attend. Had to walk around the store for an employee to pick up my online order, went to this one employee who didn't bother to look up at me when telling him what I need, dude did not even walk with me to help me process the order, just told me to go to the non existent cashiers at the cash register. There was no one around him for him to attend to after me. I ordered a new condition Scotty Cameron for pickup and this thing didn't come plastic wrapped and also came with the wrong headcover. I had a phantom 9.5 and it came with a center shafted headcover. Don't pickup clubs from this store, just order online. My "new" putter has scratches and dings. Good to know that this place has yet to compete with club services that is like PGA superstore. I asked if I could get a service done on my putter the same day and I was told to go to the back and meet "Chris" and and it's the same dude that told me to go to the cash registers for my pickup. Apparently Chris refused to do service on my putter as he wasn't comfortable with doing the service. Dude got hired to do nothing except make people uncomfortable. The Golf galaxy at Summerlin is at least better than this place. read more

I have been going to Golf Galaxy for the last 6 months getting lessons from Avis Brown-Riley. I started off with a 3 lesson pack and have since bought a 10 lesson pack. Avis took the time to get to know my swing where I am looking to improve. Avis took my swing back to the basics and identified habits I have in my swing that needed correction. My swing has really improved since seeing Avis. Everytime I start to deviate from the proper swing and going back to my bad habits, I just come back to my swing doctor and she consistently delivers. I look forward to continue working with Avis to get my handicap down. read more

Picked up a new purchase. Spent over $500 on two fairway woods. Went into the store to get them regripped. Still have the plastic on them. Went back to Brian in repairs. Brian was really rude. Don't recommend him. Take your clubs somewhere else. I know it doesn't take more than 5-10min PER CLUB, to cut grips off, new tape, even measure and cut shafts, solvent slide grip on and align. Instead of getting to work for a new purchase. He sat down at his chair and decided to go through his whole run down of how busy he was. Keep in mind. The time he took to sit down and argue with me. He could've been done. At this point I have spent $600 in the store. In the past month I've spent well over $1000 at that location alone. He alone is the reason I won't be going back to that location. Just turned a great experience spending A LOT of money and getting new gear, turned very bad experience very quickly. read more

Pro: The place is huge, and it has everything. The prices are also quite reasonable, and you could easily spend a few hours browsing. Con: The customer service is unprofessional. As soon as I walked in, someone warmly greeted me and asked if I needed help. I told him I was interested in lessons, but he said the instructor wasn't there and that lessons could only be booked online. (When I got home and checked online, it said to call for booking.) Besides the person at the entrance, there were only two other customer service staff. One was eager to help but seemed to know less about golf than I do. The other completely ignored me and was engrossed in a conversation with another customer. I waited patiently for them to chat for an hour, and when the customer finally left, the staff member didn't even acknowledge me or ask why I had been waiting at the putting area for an hour--he just went back to his office. I went there today with three goals: 1. buy a driver, 2. buy a putter, and 3. book a lesson. I stayed for about two hours, and none of these things were accomplished. Never ever get a fitting here. The dude i worked with a while back (mid 30s mormon dude with short hair and glasses) tried to scam me but i saw it. I was trying to Mizuno irons, hitting a 7 iron for a bit, while he was standing at the computer. All of a sudden, i started flying my 7 iron 237 LOL. I acted shocked and he played along. Dude was smug and and didnt want to be there. Barely gave me a fitting and rushed through it. Bragging about how he hits blade irons lolol. Ive never forgotten it. It was embarrassing to be apart of. I left and bought those irons somewhere else so he didnt get comish. Ive gotten my revenge on them over the years though and i will continue doing so ;) NEVER GO HERE read more

This review is long overdue, but I'd be remiss to not let everyone know about their golf lessons. I wanted to start golfing again, but it had been so long that it was like being new to the sport. I checked out lessons at local courses, but felt intimidated by taking lessons there. That's when I discovered that Golf Galaxy offers lessons with PGA Professionals. The PGA Professional that was there at the time was great and really helped me learn to play again. He was patient with going over the basic skills and letting me set the pace of the lessons. Once I was hitting the course I was able to return and troubleshoot problems with my game. It was always worth the trip in for another lesson. His advice was always spot on and would improve my game the next time I played. Their pricing was much less than lessons at a golf course too. At the time they offered a package of 10 lessons that gave a discount on the per lesson cost. The store really does offer everything you need for golf. From clubs to clothing to golf balls. Sign up for their email list and reward club to get discounts. I found their sale prices to be competitive. I ended up buying my clubs, shoes, and golf outfits here. read more

If you are a golfer, going to Golf Galaxy is like going to golfing heaven...but I'm really not a golfer. My husband and I are trying to start golf as a way to get more exercise. So, we got some gently used clubs (the guy had hundreds because golfers are always getting the new 'magic' clubs to play better!) but it seems there is always something else you can use. We only came to Golf Galaxy for golf towels (yes, they have a 'special' towel, hubs says, to hang on your bag to wipe clubs or balls (yea, I looked at him funny too). And he found "the book" that all golfers must read to play better (I'm still waiting for the Cliff Notes version). The coolest thing there was that you could try new clubs on putting greens or a practice range. They also have a virtual reality range to practice your swing. It did look like fun and I'm sure we will be back to try them. The staff is wonderful. They know the products and are so helpful. I definitely recommend Golf Galaxy. The only change they may need is a sitting area (like in the mall) so those coming with golfers have a place to sit! LOL! read more

I was in the store shopping, being an inexperienced golfer I was in need of some help. I couldn't find anyone to help me for over 10 minutes. I large African American man walked right by me, he seemed to be in his own world. I later found out that he was the store manager. He really needs some guidance on how to provide customer service. There was also a women up at the register area, a tall girl, she was also no help at all. She said if I don't see what I am looking for on the floor, they don't have it. Super expensive but darn it if they don't have the best equipment and apparel out there. I kind of want to just shop for clothes there for work because they are so stylish and cool. The last two times I have been in, I have been helped and had my swing analyzed for free. Each time we worked on it for about 30-45 minutes. Now, I don't know if that's because it wasn't that busy or because the guy really wanted to help me but it was much appreciated and it actually made me feel like they cared about me. He didn't try to push a sale on me afterwards either which felt even more genuine. I have only bought a few things from here as it is quite expensive but I do enjoy coming in here every once in awhile and seeing what they have in stock. read more

The people working there are pretty knowledgeable about their selection. Was trying out some drivers at the demo center and turns out ping is one of the top drivers, recommended by a staff member. Never tried them nor did I read reviews until I recently got back into golf. Taylormade and callaway are more forgiving but distance wise, ping had it. May come back to purchase it. Great selection of clubs. They don't just have one type such as the Taylormade center or before it was the callaway center. read more

I was not impressed with the level of service provided by the staff at this facility. I can only relate it to the minimal amount of staff they had at the time. I was interested in purchasing a set of golf clubs. When my friend and I entered the store there where two staff members at the registers at the front of the store and approx 3-4 customers throughout the store. I walked toward the back of the store and found the golf clubs sets. I fo and searched for a left-handed set. Not find one, my friend and I searched the area for an employee, but could not find one. I walked to the front of the store and a female staff member met me before I got to the registers and asked me if I needed help. I asked her about a set of left-handed golf clubs. She was intent on helping me and said she'd grab a device and head back to the area and take a look. We headed back to the golf sets I was interested in. The woman scanned the sets with her device and I again looked at each set for a left handed set. I noticed a male staff member walked towards the back of the store, with clubs in this hands, and speaks rather loudly, "woman's name, I need you back up front." The women heads back to the front of the store exclaiming, "I'll be back with you in a minute." I walked around a bit more staring at the boxes of golf sets again searching for a left handed set, which I did not find. My friend was on his phone looking at shoes and such. I looked at some shoes as well and still did not see another staff member. I walked around a bit more looking for someone to help me or notice me. I let my friend know I wanted to leave and we headed back towards the entrance. I ended up passing the male staff member and seeing the female staff member at the registers. The male staff member said, "have a good night guys." I bought a set of left handed of golf clubs at Dicks Sporting Goods. read more

Thursday night is ladies night! My girlfriend and I stopped in to check it out. Not many people (ladies) were there and it might have been there first one. You don't know what you're missing! They gave you a card to check out different places in store (great idea!) once you get it signed by attendant at each area you turn in card and get a gift card valued any where from $10.00-$100.00. Been looking at a specific 16 piece club set that has been on back order since June. On 8/9/21 I saw that they were back in stock and available online and in store. The Google add showed the set for $399. I rushed over after work to pick them up. The salesman name Joe said they were $549 and that the add was for the 12 piece set. When I showed him the online add on my phone he said it was incorrect and he offered to takes $30 off the $549 price. I was very disappointed and left the store. I see the add again today for $399. As you can see the 16 piece set is CLEARLY MARKED at $399. So dissatisfied with Golf Galaxy as well as Dick's Sporting Goods. There don't have multiple brand samples, flex, kick-points, models etc, in driver shafts, that u can put on your driver head, or used there driver heads. The tech was very informative & will sell u a shaft, that he "thinks" will work for your swing or personal goal, but no guarantee, it will work out in the field. Always have good experiences here. The golf tech guru Joe is super nice and knowledgeable. He doesn't talk down to you when you ask a question that you are unsure of. Chase is easily the Best and most knowledgeable sales rep they have. He's so nice and has great customer service skills. Never pushy and lets YOU decide what you want or need. Doesn't try to upswell you. Jim is an excellent store manager and always makes sure things are done right and I am taken care of. Appreciate everyone at this location. This was a fantastic experience today! The staff is knowledgable with all the equipment and took the time to walk novice beginners through the process and the details of a new set of clubs, shoes and what will work best for us in various situations. I never felt judged or out of place even though I know nothing about the sport. Micheal was so patient and informative about the equipment we asked about. He didn't lead us to he most expensive things, but rather what was best for our skill level, how much we play, and our comfort level price wise. He took the time to show is the difference between different brands, lengths, and grips of clubs -- who knew there were so many options! He then explained how the process will work for the clubs we specifically required based on outer sizes and how we play. He even gave us some tips on how to pick a good instructor, where to find them, and his favorite courses in the area. This couldn't have been a better experience for a couple of newbie golfers looking to get into the game, but don't know where to start. They also helped me pick out a good set of used clubs to get me started on my journey. Prices for golf gear can be expensive but they have great deals on equipment and apparel. I visited both the Golf Galaxy in Henderson, and the one on Charleston and Durango. They are comparable in their offerings and pricing. The Henderson location has indoor driving range areas that they rent out at $20 for 30 minutes. You can only demo clubs in the Taylor Made or Callaway fitting areas. Packed with lots of items, both stores (and most golf stores in Vegas) are heavily filled with Taylor Made equipment. Their selections of other brands is a bit light, especially Nike, Adams, Mizuno - although you will find them here. I was looking for a particular golf bag and they didn't carry the model, but then no one in Vegas did either. Prices are a bit on the high side, I actually ended up ordering most of my clubs from online where I could get a better deal. Say $249+tax compared to $204 and no tax, no shipping costs. If you are looking for used clubs, both stores have a decent selection that changes frequently so check back often. Overall I comparison shopped Golf Galaxy, Golfsmith, and Las Vegas Golf and Tennis. Golf Galaxy had the best inventory, followed by Golfsmith. Las Vegas Golf and Tennis had the best prices. read more

Sadly I had to return my new Nike Vapor Pro Combos without ever getting to use them! I was fitted for clubs and they determined I needed my clubs 1/2", except they didn't give me longer clubs. They put on the new grips, bent them to 3 degrees up (at least I think they did!) and said they lengthened them. Which they did not. Not a huge deal by itself, but it was latest bad customer experience I had with them. I went in with the intention of buying new clubs, bag, and driver for my golf trip. They didn't have the driver I wanted with a stiff shaft, they did say they could order it. I bought a new bag, but it had a flaw so I returned it(that was their only one in that color), so they sent me to another store. When I checked out, I was charged double on the labor to install the new grips on the new clubs. It seemed they didn't really care if I bought anything or not. I must say when I returned the clubs, Jason the manager was helpful and nice, but there really isn't any reason to goto the store, just buy it online at a much better price. Pretty bad experience. Have a old set of clubs and have not golfed for about 18 years. Needed new grips called in and was told bring in your clubs and we will take care of you. Went to trailer and the guy was pretty rude. Said I needed my old clubs re-gripped, he glanced at them and said if you want them re-gripped go out and pick some grips first. After spending 10 minutes looking at the grips and not getting any help I picked some grips and went back into the trailer and was told - yeah - those are bubble shafts and we cannot re-grip them. This is all fine that a special tool is needed and they did not have one but should have been told that when I showed them my old clubs. Rude and unprofessional service at the trailer. You could be walking around with money hanging out of your pockets and they would still not care. This place is always empty, and soon to be a sears part II. Worst customer service I've ever had at golf store. Went last week on my birthday to pick out new driver and was told no one was available to help even though there were 3 people standing around. One said we had to make a reservation ahead of time, so we left the store. I stop by today to purchase a golf shirt and stood in line 10 minutes before the manager and another cashier came to work the registers. The manager tells the new cashier that he'll help me who was at the front of the line and that the cashier could take the next person. Well, in the next second, the cashier that had been helping the same couple for ten minutes said he over charged them and needed help, so the manager goes over and helps him. The remaining cashier calls for the people behind me to come to the register instead of me who was the next one in line. No common sense whatsoever. I left and will never step foot in Golf Galaxy again except to return a shirt and driver I received as a birthday gift. PGA Superstore and Discount Golf and Tennis are miles ahead of this operation in terms of C/S and merchandise. read more

Where to begin. Usually I don't leave reviews, but this especially unpleasant. First, even though there was someone near the front door, I was not greeted. Was if because I had two kids with me? Who knows. Simple, I wanted just an orange golf ball from the bin that the store has near the checkout. It was a Callaway Supersoft golf ball. Picked one up and headed to checkout. That is when I was told that we don't sell these golf balls. What? You mean the ones that are in the bin? Not the Supersofts, I was told. I went back to the bin to discover that half of the bin were balls they "do not sell.' Alright, very annoying but not going to complain. I went back to the bin and got ball they do sell and when I purchased it, I gave them my info to receive points on my card. I also had a coupon for an additional 150 points. When I got home, I found out that nothing went through, I received no points for anything. I called the store and after I was transferred a few times, I was given a customer service number to call and then was immediately hung up on. No help from the employees with golf balls in bin or trying to receive points. Very rough experience. I hope other people don't have to go through this. read more
