The Glenwood Estate's Maintenance Golf Cart had stopped holding a charge. I called the previous company we dealt with and found the location had been taken over by a New Company "Golf Carts Plus". I spoke with Chad Kay, who offered to have it picked up and looked over. No charge! ok, that is a great way to get new business! Later Chad, the owner explained that the service technician found all the batteries purchased last year were dead. Glenwood's Club Car was a 2010 and had issues almost every year. Chad offered various options within the park's budget. Gary, a director in Glenwood, chose a 2021 Club Car at a great price. Our Maintenance Supervisor Calls it "his Cadillac".
Why would I take the time for a 1-time experience? Well, if you are the point of contact for the various vendors and see how important communication, prompt service, returned calls and a company that stands behind its workmanship can vary, you know when you have a Company you want to continue to deal with and you hope will continue to thrive. So, pass that information around, give referrals to them and support them as a valued Small Business Owner.
