Stopped this morning for gas. Saw that employees were shoveling and snowblowing so I parked my car in a different pump out of their way. I was screamed at, cussed at and belittled For parking in their way. I will do all that I can and let everybody know that this location does not deserve anyone's hard earned money. I called in and set up an appointment to have a leaky tire repaired. I stated that I thought it might be a valve stem but I wanted the tire checked to make sure before the valve stem was replaced. I signed up for my appointment and dropped the van off. A few days later the tire was low again. I called in to try and find out what happened and was told by Mr. "I'm the son of the owner" that he did the repair and on the order it said 'no diagnostics, replace valve stem.' I said that made me upset because I deliberately said to check the cause first. He said it was my fault because the guy I talked to on the phone is not a part of their service team, he only does the gas station. The son of the owner said it was my fault for not telling the service people when I dropped the van off what it was I wanted done. He said that calling in for my appointment is not when I am supposed to tell them what I want done because there is not enough room in their system to write down what it is the customer is requesting. The son of the owner also kept interrupting me on the phone and told me quote "You are wasting my time." read more

Not a chance I will ever return. They even had another rating website contact the vehicle owner (Sure Critic I believe it was). Big mistake on their part. I actually believe they do pretty decent repair work, but their customer service and people skills are absolutely horrible. I picked up a family member's vehicle and was treated as if I were sub-par by a man named Terry. Talked down to the entire time as if I were dumb. Little does he know I've been in the business my entire life. I know how it works and when someone is lying. Bazinga! I also personally witnessed this "Terry" guy smoking cigarette's inside of his own facility. Not only is this illegal, it is a fuel station for crying out loud! He as well as the other employee's are not only putting themselves and customers lives at risk. This is a gas station folks. read more

I have been taking my car to Goldstar for 7 years and never had a problem but this last time I feel that they ripped me off by fixing parts on my car that had nothing to do with the problem. I know for a fact, after taking my car to the dealership and another independent mechanic for 2nd and 3rd opinions, that Goldstar not only lied to me but ripped me off ($2000.00) replacing parts knowing that it wouldn't fix the problem which meant my engine light would come back on and I would have to come back. They got away with this for a year and took over $2000.00 from me and I still had to take it to Van Devere to have it fixed right. Today, I went to your business to see if I could have my battery terminals cleaned and have my battery checked. The woman owner came from the garage and said "the battery will be $117.00". She didn't say, the terminals are not cleanable nor your battery is dead. I said okay, I'm going to look around and shared with my friend on the phone that I wasn't going to pay that amount with out looking around. After I left I called and asked if I had a warranty on my battery. The young man at the desk who answered the phone said he couldn't check because all the mechanics were gone. Then the male owner of the business called me and said my battery was 4 years old and didn't have a warranty, I said okay ~ thanks. At Auto Zone the young man showed me on my battery that it left the factory June 2010... I know I bought the battery in the fall of 2010. It is January 2014 ~ 9 months away from being 4 years. So I called back and spoke to the young man taking $ and he shouted at me: "Frankly the owner is done with you" the reason being because I told my friend on the phone that I wasn't going to pay that price and was going to look around before purchasing a battery. This young man needs some customer service skills too... Needless to say, I will not be using your business again and will tell everyone I know in Canton Ohio that the owners are rude, I was lied to and screamed at by the cashier. Oh and the cashier shouted "I bought a cheap ass battery and it was dead", so don't buy a battery from them because they sell cheap ass batteries! PS.
