The meal I chose was a 3 piece chicken strip that came with a small handful of fries. To me they obviously weren't fresh out of the oil, cause the chicken was nice and hot - same goes for a side gravy better than any I've had choosing drive thru. Aside from those small issues, I have to say I was impressed with the onion rings I ordered well done and a Mocha Moolatte that they were kind enough to add mint flavour too. Lastly, I must add that the customer service and friendliness is usually lacking and this was no exception. Just a "Hi, what can I get you?" At the speaker and a similarly curt reading of my total at the window. The adolescent female employee was obviously not grateful for my business and her subsequent paycheque. I wont be going again (for anything hot) anytime soon, no matter how close it is to my bank.

This was my first visit to a Popeyes! I'm always on the lookout for a good fried chicken place and…read morethought it was time to give this chain a try. Located in a strip mall near Costco and the Casino, this is a convenient location for me. The restaurant was clean, bright and quite busy. The service was friendly, and the food was ready quickly. Maybe I misunderstood something, but looking at the menu, it didn't appear that you could get "chicken only", just a combo. Hmmm, ok. Hubby got 6 spicy tenders w/onion rings. I got a 2 pc. mild chicken w/Mac & cheese and Cajun fries. The tenders and the fried chicken were both excellent (spicy wasn't very spicy at all, but still good). The fried chicken was very tender & juicy with a yummy, crispy exterior. The onion rings were pretty good, but could have been crisper, Cajun fries were on point, the Mac & cheese was a disappointment (akin to cafeteria food), and the biscuits were really good! The chicken was a 5, but the sides were a three, which makes this visit a 4. Not too shabby for fast food! Popeyes will definitely replace my old Kentucky stand by.

Then my car died, in a bit of an intrusive spot a bit shot of the parking stall I was aiming for. Two staff members at this Harvey's, who had just finished a shift and closed up, immediately came to my aid, helped push my vehicle into a stall, and even handed me a bag with some apple pies in it. The women's bathroom was clean but the soap dispenser was disgusting. Tim Hortons at least places a mat on their tables and when the patron leaves they flip that mat to say needs sanitation. Pretty simple to me. More wiping on all services areas especially where people are coming in and out and the transaction machine. Pet Smart is really smart about they're pads. Disappointed by far.

New little Asian gem in Stony Plain. The Spring Rolls and Chicken and vegetable stir fry were our two favourite dishes. The papaya salad was super fresh and SPICY AF (which we asked for)! We did find it to be more of an Asian inspired menu rather than a Thai spot as there were limited options / flavours (specifically looking for Thai dishes like Pad Se Ew, Sweet and Sour Stir Fry, Massaman curry, etc. ) We will most definitely hit up this spot again the next time we are in their neck of the woods to try out more of the menu. FYI to go containers are paper based and leaked by the time we got home - I'd suggest bringing Tupperware or ziploc containers if you have them available for leftovers.
