This food was the worst, There was a hair in my food, customer service was horrible, and the environment was unsanitary. Very disappointing.

Got my food within five minutes of putting in my order. I ordered the combo plate which combines chicken and lamb over a spiced rice with shredded cabbage and a sauce on top. I happened to be starving and was delighted to learn that the food truck out front was a halal truck as it's been a while since I enjoyed some lamb over rice! The owner was super friendly and had lots of suggestions for the people in front of me ordering. Some were apprehensive and he could tell they had not tried this type of food before. He assured them that if they tried it and didn't like it, then he would make them something free of charge! Now that is standing behind your product. I decided to get the chicken and lamb combo over rice and it was delicious. The flavors were fantastic and the portion was very generous. I finished my meal feeling full and well satisfied. The truck also serves things like quesadillas, loaded fries, and cheese steaks, all with a unique halal spin. My girlfriend got a chicken Philly and she was nice enough to let me try a bite. I think next time I'm gonna order one of those. I hope to encounter this food truck again in the future, and if you are lucky enough to do so then you have to give it a try!

These folks may not give you forks, but they know what they're doing! Service has always been friendly and helpful, despite how busy the line can get. The cubanos are amazing - I've gotten the original and also the BBQuban. The OG is super solid, but OMG that BBQ one is just delectable and a great texture. Trust me. Try it. They also have the best yucca fries I've probably ever had. My issue with most yucca fries is that the texture tends to be pretty tough, but these are so soft inside - like they mashed the yucca first and then formed the fries. I don't know what magic they use, but they're incredible, and you must get some. We also got a churro filled with dulce de leche, and it came out nice and hot with lots of cinnamon sugar coating. I didn't love the dulce de leche filling for some reason - maybe I got spoiled by spending time in Argentina - so next time I'll likely go for the regular churro.

The food was ready super quick. The beef empanada was amazing. It was probably the best empanada I've ever had! It was so juicy and had so much flavor. The Miami Cuban was very good as well. The chicken croquettes inside were nothing special, so I would probably get a regular Cuban sandwich next time. The pork inside was very flavorful and the bread was nice and crunchy. Overall, this was an amazing food truck and I hope they are in my area again soon!

Sticks and Cones is a pretty straightforward truck selling ice cream and other frozen treats for a few bucks per order. The ice cream-filled Krispy Kreme doughnut was $3.25 ($3.00 + $0.25 tax). The owner had a box of raspberry and lemon-filled Krispy Kreme doughnuts and a vanilla and chocolate soft serve machine in his truck. So basically, those were the flavor combinations available. I went with a raspberry doughnut filled with vanilla ice cream. The owner split open the doughnut and piled the cold vanilla soft serve high. The high calorie concoction was served in a paper sleeve. It was hard to eat with my hands, so I grabbed a spoon to eat some of the excess ice cream first. The treat tasted exactly how you'd would expect and it's nothing you can't make at home (well, I guess you do need a soft serve machine, but regular ice cream would work just fine too). It was really messy to eat and once the ice cream started melting, it seeped through the wrap, making my hands sticky. This was kind of annoying considering there weren't any restrooms available so I could wash my hands. Overall, though, I enjoyed it and the owner was a nice guy. If I came back, I'd probably order something more "standard" and easier to eat (e.g. ice cream on a stick).

There are two trucks to Sticks and Cones - the Sticks truck, full of ice cream treats on a stick, and the Cones truck, a soft serve van of sorts. For a mere $2 and change, I scored a positively delightful and generous swirl soft serve cone rolled in sprinkles from the Cones truck. It was glorious. It was fresh. It was gorgeous, actually. And, of course, it was super delicious! The Cones trucks offers a variety of specially made ice cream treats beyond simple soft serve. You'll find a variety of creative sundaes - one called burger and fries that I'll most certainly need to try one of these days. The folks who own these trucks are just as sweet as the ice cream. And they take credit cards. Yes!
