I am a popcorn enthusiast. For as long as I can remember, I have found that one of the greatest of joys of life is sitting down with a good bowl of popcorn. Growing up, my friend's family would have to make me a separate bowl from the one they were all sharing when I was over at their house because they knew how much I loved popcorn, and how quickly I would clear the entire thing before they could even sneak a few kernels from me. My friends started buying me popcorn themed gifts. My mother complained about my growing popcorn bucket collection taking up pantry space. Popcorn was my thing. Through the years I have gone through all of the brightly colored grocery store bags, have never turned down a standard microwave popped bag, and many a time have driven to the movie theater just to secure that signature buttery goodness...just to leave and go enjoy my favorite snack at home. So when I tell you *this* is good popcorn, you butter believe it is GOOD. I discovered Goldie Pops at the farmer's market and immediately became hooked. The kernels are so crunchy and crispy, and don't get stale or crumbly like you would find at the bottom of your average grocery store popcorn. The taste is so much more fresh and satisfying. Oh man, THE FLAVORS! I first tried the dill pickle (which has a really great zest but not overly tangy, and kind of has more of a subtle sweet note), truffle parmesan (great to satisfy that savory/umami craving without getting fully blasted with a cheese flavor) and the cinnamon mix (my current favorite! the buttery pieces in the mix give it that sweet/salty dynamic duo, making it addictively delicious.) If you like popcorn even half as much as I do then you should really try this one, because you can't find anything like it at the store.
