Me and my family were on vacation and got a few things from this shop. I'm not gonna lie the food was good but instead of giving my brother a chocolate covered marshmallow they gave us a chocolate covered orange that was moldy. I didn't open the bag immediately as we headed home but the next morning we opened it and realized. When traveling with my wife, we seek out all the candy stores. This was one that we've been to a couple of times and it never lets us down. It's got a little bit of everything for anyone, including caramel covered apples, which is what I was looking for today. It was delicious and they cut it for us so we could enjoy it while sitting on the bench outside. I sat on that bench for a short while so my wife could browse and pick up all the candy needed for the rest of our trip. Went there yesterday as my kids were so excited when we walked by and saw Labubus in their display window. In their Instagram account I saw they told someone that they sell both real and fake Labubus. When we were looking at them in the store, a worker told us which ones were real and which ones were fake. The fake ones were priced at $25 and the "real" ones $50. You can scan Labubus to see if they are authentic. After my kids opened the box I scanned the QR code of the Labubus and they are fake! We spent $100 (way overpriced already as they are $27 if you can get them through Popmart) on fake Labubus. I don't have a picture because I checked too many times but it said "verified authentic by paopao" which is not Popmart. The domain for the website looks like the real Popmart but it isn't. And you can see the date in the background says 06-29-25 and it should show the current date. So disappointed. They should not be advertising they are real when they are not. And if they didn't know themselves that they are fake, they are! Please don't advertise to people they are real. We have several real Labubus from Popmart and that's why I know to scan and what the real domain is. UPDATE - I contacted the store and the owners promptly gave me a reimbursement. They were very nice and understanding and wanted to make things right. read more

The guy who owns this store is very friendly and the store is clearly home owned and very personal. We went in for dippin dots but ended up also getting some salt water taffy, gummies, etc. the fudge looked amazing and they had a lot of other interesting looking homemade treats. They had a lot of candies including candy cigarettes that were very nostalgic. I can see why everyone comes here as we saw a lot of people with fuzzwig bags. If you ever read the Roald Dahl books about candy shops (wonka, giraffe and the Pelly and me) this place reminds me of them. read more

When you have a special place that you can travel to and haver the beast time and to enjoy the beauty and the many roses of the Island of Coronado there is so many things that you can spend you day and have the best lunch to take with you. There are times when you want to have something that can be salty and sometimes can be Dark Chocolate of the many great places that made their own type of sweets and the special Sweet and Salty and the sweet smooth taste of Saltwater taffy. When I had taken a day and went over to the City of Coronado, I had seen the many stores that have their many kinds of baked goods and the sweets that many of the stores have them own. The strange thing was when I was walking through the main street of Orange Ave, I had gotten a chance to get a look at the many shops that makes Orange Ave famous when I had seen the Yellow M&M Character which was strange to have outside. When I had got closer to the location there were many people waiting inside, so I just walked around and looked at the many products they sell there. I was that the store was a coffee shop half toy store but when you go to a place that has so many toys and the large case which had many brands of homemade chocolates and the many dipped fruits. If you remember when Charlie had walked into the candy store and had that last coin that he had seen the many candies and chocolates he asks for a Wanka Scrumdeliumpsious the long candy bar revealing the golden ticket the surprise. The store there on Coronado reminds me of the English style store when you go to Fuzziwig's Candy Factory it has that feeling of the Charlie and the Choclate Factory. The many years of historical locations that the Island has the many tastes your day may have when you have a craving for chocolate dipped pineapple and the popular pretzels. The specialty that brings back so many memories is the freshly made fudge and the taffy brings back the sweet taste of the old days. What a great store! Walking into this store brings me back to my greatest childhood memories. This store feels like what I would imagine Willy wonkas chocolate factory would be like. Filled floor to ceiling of every candy one could ever dream Of. They have prepackaged candy to keep everything cdc complaint and sanitary. Candy, ice cream, truffles and more. My fiancé and I revisited this store after having bought $40 worth in the past. However, this time we had our little corgi with us which he held in his arms to make sure it wouldn't touch anything. The cashier guy without speaking a single word rudely pointed at our dog, then at the door... to which we just left without buying anything. If he had kindly used his mouth to ask us to leave the dog outside, we would've happily respected and obliged. But because he used his fingers in a rude way and didn't even bother to speak to us, he lost us forever as customers! There are many great shops in Coronado with much kinder service!! This candy shop was packed full of candy, toys, and people. Although we didn't try any of the candy on this visit, the chocolate smelled amazing here. This store is so cute. My son and I loved looking at all of the Legos and stuffed animals. They had fun items stacked all the way to the ceiling. I also spotted some delicious vintage candy here. As a group of 12-14 families, we ride our bikes from Silver Strand to Fuzziwig's every Sunday before Labor Day. The older lady (I'm guessing she's the owner) is always so patient with us and all our kids that pile in the store. We came this last Sunday and she was patient and helpful, as always. She gave me a huge block of her new flavor of fudge - Peanut Butter and Carmel - for our whole group to try and asked for feedback on it. I came back to the shop on Monday but she wasn't there so I'm writing the review here. It was phenomenal! Everyone loved it. I would buy it and recommend it, no question. My other favorite candies are the chocolate "Coronado Crunch" and the dark chocolate sea salt caramel. Oh my gawsh, so good! Thank you for your generosity and incredible candies year after year. We came in Wednesday evening. We had approximately $30-$40 worth of candy for my two kids. The guy at the cashier counter kicked my wife and two kids out because we had ice cream from another establishment. My wife told him we are buying a lot of candy and a he said you did not buy the ice cream here. I guess if we bought a water bottle from somewhere else and came into the store he would allow us to buy candy. Totally rude and clearly was not the owner because he would not treat his customers that way. If you treat your customers this poorly you don't deserve customers.
