Kaya joined our family almost four years ago and she has been amazing since the day we got her. She has been a healthy happy puppy/dog and if we could have another i would happily make the trip back to goldens and such for as long as they raise dogs! This is a great place to find the newest edition to your family! read more

Got our golden in August 2019; born June 3 2019. He possibly had Giardia, but not tested. The food they gave the dogs was Tractor Supply dog food so not great. Otherwise, he's been great. read more

Our Owen lived an amazing healthy life of 15 years. That's basically unheard of with this breed. If you don't have anything nice to say about this place don't say anything at all. This is a great dog breeder they were always happy to take our calls and questions prior to and after our adoption. People are so crazy they actually believe that specific breeders make or break a dog's character, demeanor, health, temperament etc. No folks...YOU determine and define your dog not the breeder. They just breed them and medically supervise them for 8-10 weeks. After that it's YOU. I can't say a single thing wrong about Goldens and Such. Owen was the best dog one could ever wish to have. You can trust these folks to deliver you your best friend and 15 years? That's a comfortable and rewarding length of time and one incredible journey ! R.I.P. my beloved friend read more

I got my puppy from this place almost 4 weeks ago and since then it has been non stop vet appointments. I brought her to the vet 2 days after getting her and she had a positive fecal to giardia she was infested with fleas and worms and she had a VERY bad UTI followed by a vaginal infection from dirty bedding. She was in a pen with at least minimal of 10 other puppies. puppy mill!!! do not recommended! read more

I know everyone is calling this place a puppy mill, but I don't agree. Carson will be 3 years old in July and she is wonderful and healthy. She has never had any health issue, she is strong and loving and ever so friendly. I just Love her. I feel like this is a smear campaign against this breeder. read more

The pen I went to was clean and well serviced. My Golden which Ii picked up at 16 weeks had 2 worming treatments and her start of vaccinations . For the 1st couple of days she was sick and lethargic . She still had a bad case of worms and was infested with fleas. The breeder did warn me about the fleas. They have little human interaction except at feedings and customer visits. She has had her 1st vet visit and all looks good for her. House training has been difficult because of her age but she shows promise. Breeder was very accommodating. read more

My mom got a golden from here a few years ago. I was training him to be a therapy dog due to mental health issues. Living situations changed and my mom chose to rehome him. When he got to be about 3-4 he suddenly started showing dog aggression. A couple years later my cousin bought a shepard from here. At 9 months old she attacked another dog and would play aggressively before this. As she got older the aggression got worse until she finally bit me while I was pregnant. The vets and trainers that have seen her think it's a neurological problem. This place is clearly a puppy mill that strictly breeds for money and not genetics or temperament. read more

Terrible place! and a puppy mill. no health testing at all whatsoever. My bf got a husky from them a few years ago, (he didnt know any better) they gave him the dog at 2 weeks old and the dog is now 4 and has cataracts. AWESOME PLACE! Totally want my next dog from here read more

I got my baby girl from these folks in May of this year. Since the day she was brought home it has been none stop trouble, this poor girl can not catch a break. When we picked her up from goldens and such it was stated she had been given her first shots and dewormed and all. When I brought her into my own vets office they knew immediately where she had come from and were distraught. She was riddled with worms and needed to be treated not once but twice since she's been home. She had developed vaginitis and had finally been cleared of that But come present day she began showing the late signs of Giardia, luckily we were able to get her into our lovely vet where she spent the entire day yesterday on ivs and too start the treatment process so get her healthy like she should have been from the start. I'm beyond thankful we have our sweet girl and are able to help her through this lovely but beyond sick and appalled at these people an the state they send these dogs to there new homes in. It is unfair and cruel, the dogs deserve better and this puppy mill should be shut down considering the amount of reports they have against them. Absolutely awful. read more

Adopted a golden from them back in 2016. He was fine for the first few days but when we brought him to our vet he ended up having giardia and worms which is pretty dangerous for puppies. He's very VERY energetic, even as an adult going on 5 years. We love him to death but we definitely were not expecting the energy he came with when getting a golden which makes me think temperament was not considered when pairing up the parents. He also had to have two back knee replacements, one for each knee, in 2019 as he tore both jumping down from the truck. I would have chalked this up to a rare accident for a 3 year old dog except for his littermate/sister just had to have the same surgery in 2020 for both of her back knees from jumping down from a bed. FYI: The surgery is about $3000 each leg, and the recovery is 6 weeks (EACH SURGERY) of not letting your extremely energetic dog run around or play with his friends... We love our golden so much and he has definitely changed our lives for the better, but I can't recommend buying from here again as I don't believe enough care went into the health or temperament of the litters. read more

Adopted a 7 week old female Golden Retriever puppy in late August 2020. She had all of her first shots before we got her. Received information about her parents. Mom was from one of their own females and the male was from Pennsylvania. (NO INBREEDING). Took my pup for her 2nd round of shots by my own veterinarian a few weeks later and wanted to know where I got her from. Told me that I had a perfect puppy. Her hips were great. Eyes and ears healthy. Loved how her teeth lined up to one another. No fleas, no mange. Heart sounded healthy, no gas buildup etc. She was very happy with her. Also she is so darn cute. I would recommend this place 110%. Worth the drive and their price is more than reasonable. read more

St. Bernard Puppy I got from them had a wonderful temperament. All the puppies seemed very happy and well cared for. However my dog was diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia at 6months which is genetic. Surgery at 6 1/2 months on average cost 6000. read more

We've gotten two golden retrievers from Golden's and Such. Penny, 3, and Daisy, 6 months, are the sweetest girls! They are both in perfect health and we've had no health issues. Our dogs are great with children and they love meeting people. read more

Got my golden from them in October 2012. She just died In Feb 2022. I wouldn't of traded her for the world, ever ever. Brought her home and within a couple days she contracted giardia. As a puppy she had temperament issues, vets told us after she gets spayed, she should become more calm. That didn't happen until she was maybe around 7-8 y.o. She had cancer by 4 y.o. Had the tumor removed. Through those years she had weird and random twitching/rocking back and forth. Vets didn't help at all. About a year ago at 8, out of no where her arms and legs just didn't work and would go stiff, would collapse onto the ground, would need to be carried everywhere. It was horrible. Had to take her to a specialist in Mass. Certain symptoms started coming back by the beginning of Jan of this year. Had an appointment for the end of Jan. She had a seizure on the way there. Stayed over night, had seizures while there. Within a week she was able to come back home only once but had to go back because of seizure symptoms, low glucose, whatever else. Died a week to the day I brought her in. Found out a day later she had Insulinoma, another type of cancer. Heartbreaking isn't even the word. Bottom line is!!! This place!!! Is not okay!! Before I even read the reviews, I knew by the way the breeders went about the paperwork and the exchange of everything this place was sketchy/something was off. Please either know this before getting a dog there, or just don't give these people your money. read more

Got a puppy from them in May. The dog was so friendly and we immediately fell in love with her. Unfortunately she was constantly dripping urine throughout the house and after many vets appointments we were referred to a specialist where she was diagnosed with bilateral ectopic ureters. They cannot perform this surgery in Vermont and we ended up having to bring her to Massachusetts to have a surgery performed. All in all it cost about $5,000.00 (a bit more but less than $5,500.00). We've been in contact with the breeder and he's super aggressive about the whole thing. He accused us of trying to scam him. Tomorrow I'll be sending all copies of paid invoices and vet summaries via certified mail since he will not provide an email address. I would not recommend ever using them. It financially destroyed our home and then to be treated that way when just trying to have a conversation about a possible partial refund or SOMETHING! read more

I love this place I bought 2 very healthy, smart Golden Retrievers from this place. First male lived for 13 years very healthy and the second is 2 years old. Both very well natured dogs. I refer these people to everyone I know. Most are very pleased with their pups. They offer a few breeds at a very reasonable price. read more

Does anyone out there have a puppy from this place that was born on 4/9/17? I would love to hear from you as we have a female from that litter. Thanks read more

I got my now 15 month old husly from them at 6 wks old. Laya is a gorgeous playful happy girl. She had giardia, and worms but don't they all unless treated. I pray she doesn't have hip problems or others for that matter. I'm glad she is with me instead of wherever else she would have ended up. Puppy mills are no joke. I would not send my friends to them. read more

We have 2 Goldens from here.. siblings.. we got them at 6 1/2 weeks.. they had never been handled. The male almost died a week to the day after we got him, he had tape worm so bad. This is caused from ingesting a flea which carry the parasite. He now has bad hips/legs, keeps injuring his ACL in both legs, and 3 days ago our baby girl passed away!! She was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy (enlarged heart). They are only 2 1/2 years old! The vet was shocked.. this is genetic and all the web sites and vets say it runs in litters so if it is detected they should not breed them. I wanted to put this out there for others. This place should definitely be looked into. Our poor sweet Bella..our hearts are broken. read more
