POOR EXPERIENCE with MATTRESS WAREHOUSE -- Carlisle Pike…read more I want to share my poor experience with the Mattress Warehouse on the Carlisle Pike, across from Wegmans. I purchased a specialized adjustable bed with a remote control that raises and lowers the head and feet. The motorized unit later broke while the bed was under warranty. Mattress Warehouse would not resolve the problem unless I paid an additional fee and disposed of the old, heavy bed base myself. They also would not refund my money. I ultimately took the matter to court, and the judgment was entered in my favor. No customer should have to go through what I went through to resolve a warranty dispute. Based on my personal experience, I would not shop at this Mattress Warehouse again. BE CAREFUL!!

We were shopping for a new mattress (king= 2 twin xl, and adjustable bases), and nothing against bob's, but the whole mattress shopping process sucks. How can you lay on something for 5-10 minutes and determine if it will be comfortable for 6-8 hours of sleep at night? We settled on the "plush" version of their sky memory foam, (temperpedic cloud knock off). No issues with the delivery or set up, however the delivery fee is 10% of your purchase price, no matter what you buy. They say you can pick up, but it has to be from one of their distribution centers, not the stores, since the stores don't keep any stock. After the mandatory minimum 30 days, the mattress had not gotten any softer. The other memory foams we tried out, got softer about 5-10 minutes after laying on them with body heat, but not these. Both my wife and I noticed no improvement with achy backs, or tossing and turning at night. We followed the "break in" advice from the salesperson (let the kids jump o them, crawl around on them on knees and elbows, etc) but still no improvement. In order to return them, we had to call customer service first, where they really wanted us to just exchange them for a different mattress. Unfortunately there were not any others that we were interested in, so they started the refund process. After the customer service rep got everything done on her end, she gave me my return authorization number, then told me I needed to contact the store, to process the actual refund, and schedule the pick up of the mattresses. We are keeping our power bases, no issues with them, but went to one of the "big name mattress stores" and found what we hope are going to be better mattresses.

The person who messaged me was dismissive of my disability needs and tried sending "something similar" rather than give my refund. I did get the refund but had to pay hundreds more elsewhere because I had waited for Labor Day sales. When the refund came I had to spend another half hour in a chat with them because knowing all this they still tried to keep the delivery fee. I had paid for 2 deliveries, they gave me about 20% back. Very shady, very poor customer service. A waste of your time. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

When our final decision was a brand MW only made available online, we insisted on a process that involved Blake getting the credit he deserved for the sale. And beyond that, since the online order delivery process meant it was not delivered by MW's staff, Blake had it sent to the store, then came to our home to deliver it and handle the setup personally.
