If you cannot pay them back in full soon they will trap you in a payment plan that will take nearly a year to pay back; paying more than what you initially received. I requested and received a loan for $500, but ended up paying $1,175 total once I noticed the plan they had me trapped in. Please, please, please if you can ---stay away from this company! Their interest rates go from 100% - 1,000% and they expect you to pay it in full regardless of what you borrow. I borrowed $1,200 and I had to pay back $4,000 not including services fees. This company profits off of the poor. Once they rope you into a contract and you sign it, they admit that they are a tribal company and do not have to follow state regulations with interest rate restrictions. They can charge you whatever they want! The calls are relentless if you miss even one payment - 2-5 times a day. Emails out of the wazoo! I would like to start by saying that if you don't pay off these loans in full, yes they can kill you with the interest but if your looking for a small amount, fast, this is the place. I got approved online & money was in my bank the next business day. You have 2 weeks to pay back & I opted to pay in full because if you don't, that is how you can rack up all the interest. It's $30 for every $100 you borrow. I normally would not do this but the holidays are here & my rent was due so I had to do something. This is nice if your in a jam & need money quick. On Aug 29, 2016 I applied for a loan from this company. I was told I was approved for $1,000.00. I was told it would cost me $300.00 to get the loan and I would make 4 payments of $325.00 bringing the total to $1300.00 to be repaid. I was perfectly fine with that and from my understanding their fee was the $300.00 for the $1,000 loaned to me. When I noticed a 5th payment come out of my checking account I called them. Up to this point I have called to get the contract and they explained it was sent to my email. I made it clear I have received nothing. I read back my email address to them again as in past calls to make sure its the correct one and it wasn't entered correctly on their end. I had this resolved today. When I spoke with them (Daniel) today they said I owe $975.00 to pay off the loan. This is not what was explained to me in anyway shape or form otherwise I wouldn't have accepted these terms. I see I'm not the only person this has happened to, as well as no resolution. So I will lick my wounds and pay this horrible thing off. But I want this out there so it doesn't happen to anyone else. Stay away from this loan unless you pay the loan off in one week. I wasn't told that you will have daily finance charges. My initial loan was $300 which came out to $390 with $20 fee for instant pay. I paid $220 thus far, I called to find out about my next payment and I found out I owe $350. WTF!!? I was told only $15 from each of my payments went towards my loan the rest went to daily fees. Someone stole my identity and took out a loan with these guys in my name. They have called and I explained to them what happened and gave them a police report number on the id theft. That still didn't work, they still call me 10-18 times per day using assumed phone numbers to make it look like a local call. The scary thing is that the person open the loan in a name other than mine, a bank that doesn't have a presence in my state, and somehow has my phone number. They asked f my SSN ended in a certain number sequence, which was not mine. I mean what else do they need to stop the calls. As far as the idiot bitching about how much they charge, that one is on you- all of those companies have you sign a loan agreement that covers the interest rate and payment sequences....you sign that you read that and understood it and agreed to it. The problem with this company is they have many incompetent people working there. They messed up my due date and took money out of my account on the week I didn't get paid. It didn't go thru. I called and thought and trusted it was taken care of. The next week they took out two payments. I called again thinking it was fixed. They took out two payments again this morning!!!!!! I did a on line application on 11/12/13 and when I seen the ARP's....totally outrageous and a total ripe off. I called them 4 times in the morning of 11/12/2013 letting them know I decline the installment loan of $800.00 and told them not to deposit the funds in my banking account. They connected me to one, two, three different people. I started to yell and curse and told rep how hard is it to cancel a loan and that they are freakin stupid and I said I Will call every minute and all day letting them know I declined there loan. Then one person asked if I signed the loan in my email and I told her no. She then said, the loan will be canceled. Which could be a lie. I recently discovered that my account had a deduction of $245 from my account. Now I will admit I am not great about checking my account on a daily basis and therefore I do take some ownership of the situation however after researching why I noticed that apparently a couple of weeks back $700 was deposited into my account. When I researched where the money came from it was in fact from Golden Valley. A couple I have NEVER even heard of. I went to see what information had been entered into the system to have this happen and it was information that was not even correct. My address, phone, income, etc. were all different the only thing that was in fact correct was my name. Clearly they had gained access to old information somewhere. Granite I also know the internet is not always the safest of places however are you kidding me! I tried to reach them via email to assure I have something in writing from them however I have had no response. It looks as if I am going to have to change out my account in order to keep them out of it along with any other online thieves! I get that there was money deposited at some point into my account however to think I will pay all of that interest on something I did not request is absolutely NOT going to happen!
