This school is a blessing. At first I was hesitant to have to pay for my son's education because I…read morefigured we could get it for free with our local school district. When COVID-19 came around, his preschool moved to online and then eventually outdoor learning. This model did not work well for him because of his age and because it was hot outside. We got a tour of the Early Learning Center from Miss Georgette and we decided to enroll him. He did two years of pre-school and then we decided to enroll him in the elementary school. He is now in 2nd grade and we couldn't be happier. We had a great experience with Mrs. Hobbs, Mrs. Stade and now Miss Siria. The school has some great activities and a wonderful music and PE program. Our son gets piano lessons from Mr. McCombs and he is doing so well! They also host a Fall Festival and other amazing holiday programs. His classroom has such a wonderful bond and it is great to see. The kids all love and respect one another and the school feels like family to us. Our son is excelling with straight As and is reading at a 4th grade level and is only 8 years old. Their tuition rates are very competitive compared to other private schools and you can even get a 20% discount if you attend at least 20 services during the school year. I highly recommend this school for both the Early Childhood Center and the Elementary/Middle School.

I'm a hard to please parent who demands a lot from a school. I'm very active with my children's education. So when there's a problem, I demand it gets tended to. My boys have had needs over the years that were met by attending Roosevelt. For example speech therapy and special needs education. I'm not biased on saying that either. My kids are first generation attendees, so it's not like I know anyone here personally. I do know that when I questioned or needed anything, it was addressed promptly. Staff from all across the board will answer you otherwise find someone who can. A great amount of families that attend are Spanish only speakers or bilingual. I have an English only speaking family. I felt kind of like the minority because everything felt like it was meant for Spanish speakers only. However, I was able to bring it up to the principal and he reassured that everything will be addressed in both languages consistently. I was not disappointed. My boys went through speech therapy and it help so much that within 3 years they no longer had speech impediments. My youngest was in kindergarten when he first started. And I couldn't understand him at all. The speech therapist worked rigorously with him throughout the years. Now you would never suspect he even had a speech problem. My other son also had a problem but didn't start therapy until 2nd grade. He also has no problems with speech as well. My youngest has underlying disabilities that make it hard to connect to other children and understand certain things. Rosevelt Elementary provided a successful learning environment that grew with him over the years via an actual plan. You have to ask for it. If there is need, meetings will be held on behalf of your child to come up with goals and alternatives to help them succeed. It takes a village to raise a child, but at the end, it's the parent's responsibility. Don't sit around shaming others, take action. If something doesn't feel right, you have options. By the way, the school has gone through major cosmetic improvements. It not only makes the campus look visibly beautiful - it's safer! Great job Roosevelt Elementary!

The staff and teachers here are all truly exceptional. Every teacher and team member is dedicated, caring, and deeply invested in the success and well-being of each student. You can feel the sense of community the moment you step foot into the school. What has been especially impressive is the leadership of the current principal, Dr. Elizabeth Chang!! Her vision, commitment, and strong leadership skills have brought such positive energy and meaningful change to the school. The school culture, communication, and overall environment are all noticeably outstanding, and it's clear that the school is continuing to evolve in many amazing ways! Castle Rock Elementary is more than just a school. Wholeheartedly, it's a supportive, inspiring place where students can grow, learn, and thrive. I feel incredibly grateful that my children are able to experience the same strong, nurturing environment that I did so many decades ago. I highly recommend Castle Rock to any family looking for a school that carries such high academic standards and a school that truly cares about the students!!
