Sadly, the place only has one person working at a time and she was closed for her own dinner. My wife asked me to take a picture of the store name so that she could find out more about it. That's how much she liked what she saw. So when a couple days later, we were back in the area with a few hours to kill before our plane took off, she wanted to drive back here to see if the store was open. It was! I kidded with the owner (?)/person working that she better get ready for a sale! I browsed around the interior of this small shop and was impressed with the eye catching jewelry, colorful dresses, fantastic shoes, and bedazzled clutches that were on display. I knew my wife was going to be there for awhile, so I quietly waited outside at the convenient rest area located in the shopping center commons. At least the music (live) was pretty good. Every so often, my wife would appear wearing a different dress and ask my opinion. I think she was really just making sure I didn't wander off, but I tried to be helpful as she would then go back in and try on something else. She was happy with the dress she bought. I was happy that she found something to make her happy. I also was happy to go get some ice cream afterwards with just enough time to eat it before heading to the airport. They had one particular high heel that looked like a very interesting piece of artwork although it was a shoe that you could slip your foot into and it had interesting lines that swirled and curved around one's foot almost like a staircase. The owner of the shop was incredibly helpful and friendly and showed me a number of shoes in different colors as well as some changeable shoes based on different pieces of flair you could add onto the top/toe area. I didn't buy anything in particular this day, but I will definitely be back to see what they have next time I'm on the big island!

They carry a number of local artists as well as national brands. Just ask if you want to know which pieces are by locals / islanders. I found a cool little pendant that had Big Island sand in it (I know... totally touristy but it was cute and was by a local), and my mom found some beautiful earrings made by a lady on Maui. The lady manning the store was very personable but not pushy. So, she gets a plus for not pressuring us to buy anything but instead gave us tidbits of info on the local pieces/artists. Stop by and say Hi and take your time to look through everything. You might be surprised. :)
