I will never go back. I had a pedicure done and to begin with I think it was the owner an older lady that did my toes in a complete rush...she cut me 3 different times, she filed my nails down so much that they are thin and folding/breaking down the middle, she used my dirty water to rinse the scrub off my legs, kept leaving to help other customers so it took longer than usual and to top it off they ask for a tip. I now have to wait until my nails fully grow out to be able to get a pedicure done again. I am truly disappointed. read more

Angie helped me right away she did such an amazing job!!!!!! I got a gel French tip pedi it ran be about $60 which I thought was a great price. I went here the other day in desperate shambles needing my nails fixed. I have recently been going to a newer place by my house. Unfortunately the owner was extremely rude the last time I tried to get my nails done two different times at the other place I called Golden nails, desperate to see if they had an appointment as my nails were broken hurting Goldenn got me in right away. That is his name. He did my nails and they look absolutely beautiful. I will continue to use him. He was able to do the shape I wanted. The only thing I would complain about is there wasn't as many color options for what I was looking for. They don't have a lot of sheer colors, but other than that he was able to do exactly what I asked him. My nails have held up, they are not breaking and falling apart like the other salon. Every time I was going there my nails were cracking and splitting all kinds of weird stuff. I think some of these places are using cheap powder. I will go back to Golden he was nice the salon was clean and he was able to do a decent job in a decent amount of time. It was not hours and hours I think the staff was friendly there. It's a little bit quiet in there but other than that there's definitely works and he was very fair price. read more

First time I have ever been and was instantly greeted by the staff and were so nice! I had Golden do my nails and they came out so beautiful and I had a great time while getting my nails done. Usually it's very quiet and sometimes awkward when the nail tech doesn't try to talk to you but here I had a great time Gordon was very talkative and has TALENT he showed me many of his other nails he's done and they were absolutely gorgeous!!!! All of the staff talked to me throughout and I felt very comfortable and like I wasn't a stranger to them. To me that says a lot and shows that they care not only about doing your nails but you. I have been here a few times now and have always been satisfied. Golden will actually listen to what you want for your nails and double/triple check at each step. This trip I wanted birthday nails with the UV glow and he again delivered. Shape, color, and design is super cute and I'm ready to party in Vegas! I also got a pedicure and we were able to match a gel polish color almost identical to my nails (I'll update when I get a pic of my toes). The pedicures here are always great, though the massager in the chair I had wasn't working or I didn't know how to use it *sad*. It was still a great experience. I did call the day before for an appointment and had to wait an hour after my appointment time because the client in front of me kept adding to her services. I don't fault the owners and they were very apologetic. Golden nails will be my new go to spot. Oh, I forgot.. If I was y'all I would not go here ! They don't even do nails good enough for the treatment you get , last time I got designs with diamonds , the diamonds started coming off the very next day. Anyways I decided to give them another chance only because they are down the street from my house so I made a appointment and went in , I told golden I wanted almond shape with a nude color. This man brings me 2 colors , I told him the darker one might be cuter on my skin tone . Not only did he ignore me but he proceeded to put the lighter one on . When I told him politely I didn't like that color he aggressively takes it off and tells me since I don't know what I want I can get out and he won't be doing my nails. I have never in life been treated like that before and I stay with my nails done Thank god I found a better nail shop and they fixed my nails because he left the nails on looking crazy with nothing all because I asked for a different color because I didn't like the one HE picked! I CALLED VERY EARLY this morning to schedule a appointment for a full set. I come in at our scheduled time which was 3pm, the lady came and seen what I wanted done and then proceeded to go do a full set for some other lady who was getting her feet done, yet she schedule me at 3PM. This is not the first time this has happened to me at this place. I kept coming back cause I kept thinking it was maybe just hectic those days but it's a continuous thing. I will NOT be coming back here and I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. People are not friendly and they have no problem sitting and making you wait over an hour to even be talked to. My nails are short due to my profession. They lady I went to told me $40. $40 for a fill? I even said...I might as well just get the package on the window since it's only $5 more. She said...oh well the package plain...no gel. Um. Okay? I just feel like she made up the price of the fill right then and there for me. After waiting a full hour after my appointment to even be seen, and after the tech, Golden, using the wrong color pink claiming that was the color I had last time which I pointed to the fake hand and showed him it wasnt and he offered no apology for either of his mistakes... I made a Mistake and thought the nail tech said a fill was $40 last time but I was mistaken and said oh it was $50 Last time after looking at my bank records I saw it was $50 and I tried to tip him $10 so he could have all of his money... he said go to Wonderful nails if you want cheap nails ... I will never do for you again. I like Golden Nails 2 in the Mills Shopping Center on Folsom Blvd. I always make an appointment, and they have never made me wait longer than 10 minutes before getting my feet soaking. I've seen walk-ins come in, and they give those people an expected time to come back or wait. If they don't have time that day, they offer an appointment on another date. They are always polite, welcoming, and professional, and their manicures/pedicures are always of the best quality. I'm never going anywhere else. read more

( DONT GO TO THIS PLACE )I went for a full set she charged me 85 for some regular ass acrylics whatever on top of that she made me pay cash because they don't want to pay taxes SMH anyways a month later I went and got a fill she charged me 45 !! That's ridiculous just for a fill like wtf fast forward to a month later I'm tired of this set usually they start lifting but they weren't budging so I did a soak off at home and I realized the acrylic their using is mma!! It's illegal to use on nails it can cause permanent nail damage you can even loose a real nail the stuff their using is used for dental work! My nails hurt so bad and they are very thin on top of that they don't do soak offs because they use the illegal acrylic! read more

I should have walked out when I saw the chick blowing on the wax she was about to put on my chin, but I stayed. After she finished my chin and upper lip she said something to a nail technician in her native language and then she said $15. I said $15, the website says $5 for each service. The nail technician says very loud, practically screaming $15. I said whoa, calm down and explain what I saw on the site. She went on to say the chick had to pull some hair with tweezers, I said no problem and paid the $15. The nail technician then apologized and said she was getting over a cold that's why her voice sounded the way it did, WTH!?! Are you kidding me!! I know when someone is yelling at me. After leaving, the site says $5 and up for chin. It never crossed my mind not to pay what I was told. I only went there because I was in the neighborhood at the time. Never will I go there again.
