I love when you walk in you are greeted with the 100 Banned Books to peruse through. I love a business that highlights banned books, as all booksellers should be doing this year. Although I felt like the selection was limited, I wasn't upset with this store. It just took me a little longer to find a book to purchase. I loved all the knickknacks (stickers, bags, etc) they had to shop from. The kind bookseller was helpful when I asked for help. She was completely open to offering suggestions, but I felt capable of finding something else. She was extremely kind and engaging with the few patrons that were in the store. Since I this was my first time here, I was taking it all in. The kid section was really cute and the layout is easy to shop. I enjoyed the staff picks and layouts of the different sections. I had seen the storefront many, many times over my years coming to town but had never gone inside so I popped in with her. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. They're a teeny shop but they have a really wonderfully curated collection of crystals and rocks, both small and some as big as the whole of your hand. There's also a fairly large selection of incense and oils, jewelry and decorative objects, books, and even a small amount of clothing. My cousin recently participated in her first craft fair selling her handmade jewelry and she dropped a nice chunk of her earnings here on some really beautiful stones for her collection! If you're into the metaphysical or just want some lovely things to smell or look at, be sure to pop in and visit them! I will definitely make it a point to stop in and visit every time I'm in town from now on.

I was told by an employee or perhaps the owner that one of the books we wished to purchase was "rare" and therefore $75. It was written on and the edges slightly rolled. I found it, same edition, better condition on eBay for $10. Another had the special edition pages and she said "you won't find this anywhere. They only come out with these ONCE! this is a steal" $50- So I hopped back on eBay and found it for $20 in like new condition. We did buy other books it's a cute shop. But I felt like I was being led on and given false information just so someone could make a sale. We will not be back.
