Large selection of used books. However, my issue is the pricing of certain books. I was told by an employee or perhaps the owner that one of the books we wished to purchase was "rare" and therefore $75. It was written on and the edges slightly rolled. I found it, same edition, better condition on eBay for $10. Another had the special edition pages and she said "you won't find this anywhere. They only come out with these ONCE! this is a steal" $50- So I hopped back on eBay and found it for $20 in like new condition. We did buy other books it's a cute shop. But I felt like I was being led on and given false information just so someone could make a sale. We will not be back. read more

Not to mention a fantastic selection of books - found a book I'd been looking for ages for! - with even more kids section in the back, all at a super reasonable price. I've been to many used book stores over the years and this one is by far has the most unique selection, hands down. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with the owner and ended up with a handful of excellent deal books, such a great value. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. He showed a genuine interest in my family and giving us good recommendations. The store had a great selection of old and new books. This was one of the best bookstores that we have been to in a long time. The dogs are definitely a plus and were gentle and my kids really enjoyed them. Good little bookstore in Grand Haven. It's pretty much all used books, and they have a better used selection actually than the other bookstore nearby (Bookman, I think, which is also great). It's awfully heavy on light summer reading-type books, but I guess you'd expect that in a resort town. read more
