Adorable place, but not a great selection of titles. Looks like the owner simply buys out lots of widely available mystery and romance books and resells them. If you're a local it is probably worth it to come hang out and visit with the cat and grab a book. read more

***new location 6660 Blair Ave. Holland, MI*** Cozy, clean bookstore in a new location. A variety of titles from new releases to the classics and everything in between. Very knowledgeable staff! They didn't have the authors/specific titles I was looking for, but I picked up some interesting titles I wouldn't have otherwise encountered! read more

This is a very nice store. However, I came in to sell a large number of books, mostly hardbacks about history, some recent fiction. I brought in two huge boxes, then picked out a couple of paperbacks to buy so I could benefit in trade. The result? I ended up owing the store 50 cents. Frankly, you are much better off donating books to the library. I'm sure the owner's policy is pretty standard but it is just not worth the effort to bring books in. read more

I came across this little bookstore earlier this year and instantly fell in love. I traded in a stack of books, purchased two hardcovers, ordered a hard cover and signed up for the top tier membership (a free book each month? Yes please!) for under $17. I wish I found this place sooner, it will allow me to grow my collection of books much quicker. I highly recommend this bookstore. Customer service is great too! (Trades over 10 books do need an appointment) read more

This is the most perfect used book store I've ever been to....clean, bright, organized! The owner is friendly & helpful, too! I wish there were a store like this on the east side of the state, but everytime I visit the west side, I will make a trip to get books. read more

A nice used book store to go to. May not be very big but has a great selection and the owner is the operator so you will always get great service. All of the merchandise is in very good condition and look brand new. The price is right and the place is very neat and always has the most recent books that I am looking for. Great Job BTC ! read more

Established in 2012.

I ran a used bookstore on Ottawa Beach Rd for the past year and a half, but since its closing in October of 2012, I have opened another used bookstore a few miles closer to the highway.

Nothing beats the feel of holding a book in your hands and taking all the time in the world to read it. If you are looking for a book, this shop owner will bend over backwards to search for it for you. Every book in this store "looks and feels" brand new but with a price that can't be beat! You can add your books to a wish list and get notified when it arrives. You can follow them on Facebook and find out if there is a "steal of a deal" for that week. I drive by the big box stores to purchase books at this gem of a shop. Besides, supporting your local businesses keeps this local customer happy, you never have to worry about late or overdue charges again! read more

Between the Covers is a great used bookstore in Holland. There are many varieties of books in this small store, which are in very good condition and have very good prices. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful in locating books. If she doesn't have a certain title, she will keep a wish list for you and contact you when the book appears in her store. The last time I purchased a book from her (which was part of a series) she printed off a list of the titles in the series for me. That doesn't happen in many other book stores! read more

This is a great place to buy used books. The owner seems to only stock books that are very "gently used," and she has a great variety. It is evident that she loves her store and her job; it is so cozy and well organized. She seems to know where every book is and even makes reading recommendations if she is asked. Attractive & organized selection with plenty of seating, natural light, and wifi. Unusual for a used bookstore. Like-new books at 60% off retail plus I get cash or credit when I bring them back. Wonderful atmosphere! read more
