Sleep apnea is a known accelerator of atrial fibrillation but these delays in referral literally put my life at risk! For a year! And it was all a wasteful and extremely distressing and unnecessary drama to address an important but common health problem. Using ChatGPT, I was just about 10 days ago able to find Dr. Singh's practice, and I have already received two nights of testing, and a diagnosis, and will soon begin treatment paid for by insurance that will improve my heart health and allow me to sleep without dozens of sleep interruptions per hour and like oxygen --which for over 6 months had caused me to be extremely fatigued, barely able to do my job, and caused a 45 lb weight gain -- instead of being made to wait 5 more months for needed health care! I was able to schedule a sleep study with them and found out more about my bruxism (which I do not have anymore, fortunately). I also learned about a condition called alpha delta sleep (not sure if I still have this either), but I have not looked into it that much more. I'm not sure if they still take Alameda Alliance, but I was able to get a sleep study from them which I am very grateful for.

Today I was told " Because you had not been seen in over a year the request did get discarded." I've been a patient for over 6 years. I was told everything from "We never received a request for refill" to "We received the request on the 24th and it was processed a few days after that...I show it was faxed back on the 30th." 6 DAYS!!!!??? 4 phone calls, one email, 3 fax requests from my supplier, and a phone call message today full of excuses to get a simple prescription filled?! She listened to what I wanted, natural, not 'frozen' and that was the result I had after 2 weeks of the Botox settling and doing its thing. She also went over risks and aftercare thoroughly. The result looks like a fresher version of me, not a different person. I like that it's done in a medical office. Her staff is always welcoming and kind, which is another reason I love this office.
