Sleep apnea is a known accelerator of atrial fibrillation but these delays in referral literally put my life at risk! For a year! And it was all a wasteful and extremely distressing and unnecessary drama to address an important but common health problem. Using ChatGPT, I was just about 10 days ago able to find Dr. Singh's practice, and I have already received two nights of testing, and a diagnosis, and will soon begin treatment paid for by insurance that will improve my heart health and allow me to sleep without dozens of sleep interruptions per hour and like oxygen --which for over 6 months had caused me to be extremely fatigued, barely able to do my job, and caused a 45 lb weight gain -- instead of being made to wait 5 more months for needed health care!
