I purchased a package from Woodhouse last summer and the front desk staff reiterated SEVERAL times that the package was for 18 months. I am positive I inquired about the expiration multiple times. When I tried to use it recently, I discovered that they expired within 12 months leaving me with several hundred dollars worth of expiring services. It is also impossible to get anyone there to answer the phone. I called 6 times in the last two days to reschedule my appointment and no one answered the phone until my actual appointment time. I still called one last time as a courtesy and what do you know, someone finally answered. I was then told in a rather snooty tone "We've been up front with the phones all day so we would have known if you called." Perhaps they should actually answer the phone if they are up front watching them ring.... I have had a mixed bag of technicians here. Mostly positive experiences, but their staff turns over very frequently and I've also had pretty sub par massages. I hope they turn it around because the facility is beautiful and there really isn't another nice spa on this side of town.

Edit: the owner's response feels like I'm being gaslit because their tech rescheduled then failed to communicate that they would not be showing up or would be late to the already rescheduled appointment. I also was not offered anything besides another reschedule so I'm a bit confused about this addition to the narrative. Honestly, I would've come back but her response is very off putting.

Was told I could do a manicure or pedicure at 10:00 am. Since more people would see my hands than feet, I opted for the manicure. I returned at 9:45, and was taken to the relaxation lounge which is quite lovely. The receptionist (who is obviously new and unfamiliar with operations) came back and told me they couldn't do a manicure for me as there was already a 10:00 am appointment and they only have one manicure station. Ok, no problem I'll take the pedicure. It started almost 20 minutes later. The gravity chairs are nice, as is the neck roll, blanket, and eye mask. However, the foot soak lasted 2 minutes or less with little exfoliation. The technician cut my big toenail crooked and too far in, which could potentially give me an ingrown toenail (picture below). The polish job was quick and kind of sloppy. The leg massage was ok but nothing spectacular. All in all, if I lived here I wouldn't go back. If you're visiting, save the money and go to a different salon.

Caroline took the time to blend it with a brush where needed, and she did an extra pass around my pale torso to make sure it matched the rest of me. I couldn't be more happy with the service. Caroline was also very professional and friendly. As someone who doesn't often strip down in front of strangers, the fact that she made me feel comfortable was really important. This is definitely my new go to place for the occasional spray tan. She's sending me care instructions too, which will be helpful. About the space: it's not in a *great* location near Colfax, but it's easy to get to. The office building it's in is nice with plenty of parking. Their suite is on the second floor, newly remodeled and really cute. It has a great vibe. It's also quite small, so I like that it will never feel crowded.

The esthetician was friendly, boisterous, loud and immediately jumped into performing the service without instructions or warnings. She did a good job applying the under eye patches, tints, etc. When it was time to take the tint off she dug cotton balls into my eyes - way deeper than was necessary and without care - that toxic dye got in my eyes and it was SO painful. She washed my eyes out with saline like 6 times because I demanded it but they still stung. She never apologized - just "yep, it stings don't it", like I was some sort of torture subject. I don't think she was properly trained! I have had my brows and lashes tinted dozens of times in other salons and sure there is a little sting but the esthetitian knows how to carefully remove the dye so that the sting is minimal and she is compassionate and thorough with the saline. I don't think this woman got all the dye out because my eyes still stung for the rest of the day and into the night, extra dry, red on the inside of the eyelid... 3 days later my eyes are still recovering. Google says the dyes are not FDA approved and can cause serious damage to the eyes - I was freaking out. The place is cute but I would NEVER go here again.
