Her dad and I had a hard time trying to teach her math concepts on our own as she would get frustrated. We made the decision to get her some help after seeing Mathnasium in a shopping center by our house. It was expensive for us and our budget to send her but I will say this, It was the best decision we had ever made for her educationally. The improvement in her math skills was greater than I could ever imagine. She went from scoring in the 40% - 50% in her lessons and tests, to scoring in the 80% - 95%. She even got a few 100% on her tests. They use a reward system which clearly works very well for the kids. Every time I looked inside while she was doing her lessons, she always looked like she was having fun. Sophia is incredible as well. She does so well managing all the kids and making sure they are all doing what they should be doing and performing as they should. She is very kind and always made accommodations whenever things popped up and our daughter couldn't make it. Unfortunately our family is moving states so she can no longer attend, but if you are interested in getting extra math tutoring for your kids, I could not recommend Mathnasium enough. It truly was the best investment we ever made.

And came back to creative kids. As a mother I was so worried how the teachers will treat my baby and other kids, however I can say this school has taught her letters, numbers, sharing, etc. Her teach Ms. Brandy is a God sent. She loves all her kids as her own. The director Ms. Teresa is so responsive with emails and she is so attentive. She knows all the children and parents. I only hope when my daughter starts her new school it will be as pleasant and satisfying.

They start where your kid is and don't move to the next level until the skills are mastered and that really makes a strong foundation and change in their confidence. It was a quick decision, but we were glad to give Ivy Leaf a try. Everyday my daughter told me how much fun she enjoyed her new school. During the course of the camp, she did some really fun projects such as making rocket, making ice cream, creating movies with green screen, mason jar crafts, and planting seeds to name a few that are memorable to me. Not to mention the class is small so that each student gets tons of 1-1 attentions. I am all for learning while having fun and that's exactly what you're getting here at Ivy Leaf. The teachers are nice and personal. My daughter literally cried a few times after camp was over because she missed her teacher so much. I think that says a lot.
