She guides me and helps me adapt to situations concerning my care. I can't say the same thing for the Southern Pain and Spine group as a whole! Since taking over or merging with PCA I have had several problems with appointments. From the very first appointment with them they admitted to some not being transferred to their new schedule INCLUDING MINE! Which, of course I wasn't aware of until after I had arrived! Billing me more for a procedure done 6 MONTHS prior to their taking over and then changing an appointment without phoning me. Just a text reminder. Since I already knew when my appointment was I didn't read the the entire text (which was EXACTLY the same except the original date had changed) AND they had the audacity to say I called and changed the appointment myself!!! Doctors are great, PAs and back staff are great but pay attention to reception (not schedulers if you call) when setting appointments and KEEP CHECKING!!!

I'll be honest--the day before our appointment, the front desk staff member we spoke with was a little rude, which was discouraging. However, on the actual day of our appointment, there was a different person at the front desk and she was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, which made a big difference. As for the doctor, he was absolutely amazing. You could truly tell that he takes pride in his work and genuinely enjoys what he does. He was thorough, patient, and made my daughter feel comfortable throughout the visit. Despite the small hiccup the day before, our experience was very positive, and I would definitely recommend Southside Medical Center. It's a great place with a doctor who clearly cares about his patients.

The doctor that was assigned at the hospital for my son was Dr. Mauer one for he two pediatricians at The Kids Specialist in Stockbridge, GA located 20 miles south of Atlanta. I then decided to stay with them due to the convenience. I booked an appointment with Dr. Clemons and I am so happy I did!! Initial Visit: -Our first visit was GREAT! The front office staff was efficient and helpful with the questions I had. Dr. Clemons was very knowledgeable and extremely good with my newborn son (she even changed his poopy diaper)! Dr. Clemons spent an adequate amount of time with us and we didn't feel rushed at all. Wait Time: The wait time can be fairly long (over and hour) at times which can seem like a bummer. Not for us because I know we will get the same quality service once the doctor arrives. Pros: Can make same day appointments, Hours, Open some Saturdays, Effectiveness, Knowledge of doctor, One on one time Cons: Wait time can be a little long, Front desk staff can seem a little unattached to some (Not to us though)

She is very knowledgeable and always available to answer any questions I may have. Depending on the day wait times can be a drag but is understandable given it is a private practice with only 2 doctors. It is worth the wait especially when you can be seen with same day appointments. The staff is very friendly and go above and beyond to accommodate you. They also remember each kid by name which is nice! I recommend the Kids specialist if you are looking for consistency in a private office with friendly staff.
