If you know about turquoise, you know they can be uneven and sometimes with little pretty particles. I only wanted to get my ring adjusted not scraped on the stones. Two things especially impressed us: 1. Our treasure was very small, yet we were treated with genuine friendliness and respect; 2. We felt we dealt with a man who knows his business as well as how to show consideration for what little treasures mean to people.

GoldMax is a ripoff. I went in to see what my gold was worth. I had already gotten offers so I…read morewanted to see what they would give me. They offered me 1/4 of what the gold was worth. They tried to shove a form at me to get me to sign it instantly without thinking about it. It was so ridiculously low that I balked. When I did they immediately upped their offer more than double which made me more suspicious. Also they don't pay cash, rather only by check. Not sure who they are or who owns this company. I don't like the fact that they tried to rip me off so I left and went somewhere else and got top dollar. You must check prices online. They also use pennyweights which can be confusing. Go to several places and get different offers. Also I had previously left a review and somehow they got it taken down.
