A small store, with a well-selected array of sweet pieces. Now I have two "every day" necklaces from my sweet husband-to-be, and they are quite different- this one is a very delicate diamante square on an equally light chain, and sits right at my collarbone. One thing I love is that it is so "short" in length- it doesn't sway when I work out! I adore pretty things and am always thrilled with a new spot for him to peruse for special gifts.

When we were about to leave out the store because we were being treated like common criminals an security guard and police officer was waiting at the entrance. The alarm went off as I exited the store again. So I we walked out and headed down the mall and almost entered a different when the police and security l followed us to the store and told me I needed to go back to the store be searched, it was completely embarrassing I have never in my life been treated like that before. We went back to the store I informed the the police and security guard that once I was searched I would like an apology. Once entered the store I informed the store associate that I wanted an apology after being searched, they all refused. Noone would apologize, they were rude and did not even care that you do not accuse people of being a thief without apologizing. They all could have apologized and would not. I was wrongly followed by store associates, police and security guards. I have never been to jail in my entire 39 years of my life. I would never risk my life for nothing or anyone. The store is very racist, I was followed, harrassed and searched in Tommy Hilfiger. The police security guard was called to follow me and searched, I will never go in the store again and I will also let the world know how racist they are. I couldn't finish shopping because I was embarrassed and my niece cried hysterically. My niece was completely frightened. The entire situation could have been handled differently but yet I was treated like a thief.

WOW!! If I had to pick one word to describe my ring....OK, a few others would be gorgeous, perfect,…read moreSO me....[I could keep gushing]. So he asked me back in Feb (!! girl meter went on high for an any day now proposal....!!) to show him some ideas of rings I like. We make iCloud albums for all kinds of stuff so that's how I compiled rings I found that made me go mmm....which turned out to be a great resource for him and Melanie Harlin to get to the one he ultimately (finnallllly, on our one year anniversary, which he'd been planning the whole time!) got for me. Melanie only works with the highest quality diamonds - VS and up, for example....mine is a flawless oval (which I love that he picked as I also liked radiant and emerald cuts, but an oval is more unique!) with tiny round diamonds around it and along the band. Harlin Diamonds is accessible through someone who can get into the Apparel Mart and i am so thankful that a dear friend of mine connected us. Price and such are not something on which I can comment, but I can say that the process of getting to the ring-ready-proposal day didn't take long. He met with Melanie twice, they looked through my pics then at the loose diamonds she had (note: everyone with experience says that buying loose, then setting the diamond, is the way to go because you get to see exactly what you are getting, any flaws that could be hidden by prongs, etc), and proceeded to sizing (he did borrow a little band i was wearing all the time, sneaky guy) and voila! I won't bore you with the on-one-knee part, rather say that this ring (and I can imagine, the bands I will get to pick to go with it for the wedding part!) is just...perfect.

Along the way, our wedding rings were repaired and re-sized as needed. This experience exceeded our every expectation for service, value and just plain fun.

I did not appreciate the vibe of this place and I don't ever return to places that make their customers feel like we are not valued. This place makes you feel like you should feel privileged to enter their space. There is no explanation of why we can't talk on the phone nor do I care to know if the employee decides to respond back to this review. I had a family member call me in the store (which I answered) and was told no phones allowed. I will always prioritize answering the phone for family instead of following a store policy that has no reasonable explanation. also, the items I saw in the store in my opinion were not even worth taking a picture of and that was the absolute last thing on my mind. Word of advice - respect your customers and maybe you will stay in business. I have seen a lot of turnover in L5P because of similar vibes in the store where people do not feel welcome. Business is about relationships, make people feel good and they will refer. Word of mouth is the best advertising. However due to the extremely poor experience, I will never bring people to this store, ever again. Learn how to treat people and remember we are in a free country. Generally speaking, people don't like to be told what to do, especially when not given a logical explanation.
