They don't have ppl that know body work he jus picks random ppl from the street that has no experience. They did not paint my car the correct color, the ruined my seats. 12/22-Took car into Gold Coast for a hit-n-run repair that driver's insurance was paying for repairs. 2/23- Picked up car after providing a bank certified check rather than paying cash as they demanded. Trunk emblems had not been replaced but stated they would call when they arrived. 2/23- After two weeks, called to inquire about emblems for trunk, stated they had not arrived. Note: insurance paid for emblems in the repair bills. 3/23- notified insurance they paid for product that was never delivered. Recommended to insurance company to not certify them anymore. read more

If I was able to give zero stars I would! Where do I begin, well August 12, 2022 I dropped my car off to this shop for MINOR front bumper damage. I was told I would have the car back "within few weeks"... October 17th, I go see the car in person and there's a long scratch along the whole passenger side. I bring it to their attention and they did have it buffed out.. Well finally November 18th, excuse after excuse.. months and months and months of waiting (3 to be exact) my vehicle sitting outside, packed on with dirt from rain and wind. My car is "done". I go to pick it up a few minutes right before closing and I look over the repairs they did, then as I look over my whole car I notice TONS of swirls/scratches ALL over my car, it was all muddy and dirty from their workers, my brand new wheels water spotted and brand new lug nuts rusted. Mind you, I'm getting rushed because they are "closing"... I wanted to speak with the "person in charge" that was handling my vehicle since I dropped it off, but he had the day off (coincidence). I immediately took pictures and videos And I contacted Victor via email. I took my car back on November 22nd when Victor was there. He immediately and repetitively apologized. He stated he will have his "detailer" try to take out all the scratches and if that doesn't work he will ask his boss to get my car re wrapped since it wasn't like that when I initially dropped it off. Well the detailer wasn't successful, I went back to the shop and Victor was being extremely rude. And said he will have his boss call me. That never happened. I had to track the boss down myself. When I finally got a hold of Emilio (the owner) he was extremely unprofessional, rude and didn't accept fault like Victor originally did. This is not acceptable and they are NOT a business I would recommend AT ALL!!!!! Stay away from his business!!!!!! read more

Don't recommend going here, apart from not being updated on what was going on with my car when my car was ready for pick up the inside was a mess. You can clearly tell my car was broken into. Thankfully I took all the important things I needed from my car and left misc items. Had my car fixed few years ago with a different collision center and my car was returned the way it was. Going to a place that does a good job on repair is important but also making sure your car will be safe and won't get broken into is as equally important. Right after my car accident I took my car to Gold Coast Collision #2 . They did take care of my car quickly. My biggest issue is having to babysit. First I was told they would call me with an update. I never got an update I had to call to get that update. Once my car was finished they did not reconnect my brake lights, my trunk would not open all the way and they ordered black market trim for the outside of my car. The trim did not fit well so they said they would resubmit another claim with my insurance company for the Toyota trim. 2 months went by I didn't hear anything back. I emailed Sandy waited 3 weeks she did not respond. After the 3 weeks I emailed her again stating that I know they are busy but a response would be appreciated. Still to this day she has not responded back. I contacted my insurance company and they still have not submitted the claim. I do not recommend you bring your car here as they do oro follow through and have horrible communication. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I had to because of my insurance it was the only place close to me and unfortunately both the places that popped up in Santa Maria that accepted my insurance was run by this sleeze ball Emilio. I left my car and was told it would only take 3-5 days to repair and it took 6 weeks and only because i was pushing for the work to be done. They blamed it on my insurance but my insurance said it was always them I was waiting on. He quoted me an amount to fix my bumper I agreed to said amount than once the work was all done he added $100 dollars to the quote and blamed it on me for apparently not hearing him correctly over the phone which was not true. He also said I only could pay in cash because apparently their card reader was broken sounded more like he didn't want anything to do with the taxes. Very unprofessional location. I recommend driving a couple more hours to a different place that can take your insurance. I would have if I had looked at all these reviews before jumping the gun and going to him. read more

My car was damaged in one of the many self service car washes and yes, I red and ignored warnings. Gold Coast did the bumper repair and before the time promised. Best of all damage is not even visible and the paint matches perfectly. They provided a ride home; 10 miles and back too. Although hope not but would definitely go back if needed. read more

After placing an Ad on Central Coast exchange, I was contacted by Emilio in regards to my cracked and damaged front bumper. He requested some info and provided a reasonable estimate seeing as how it needed to be replaced and painted. I stressed that I only had 2 days to repair the damaged which he was understanding. I dropped my car off early Wednesday morning and it was returned by Thursday evening, in time for work. The staff at gold coast collisions is professional and friendly. However. My adjuster was Javier. I took my car into gold coast collisions bc I ran over and object in the road and was now experiencing trouble with my car. I was going to pay my insurance deductible and have my car repaired there. Javier told me the damage to my car wasn't accident related and if I wanted a second opinion I had to pay over 100 on top of my deductible. Long story kinda short. I took the cash for the damage they were willing to pay for. I took my car to mechanic right after I picked it up from gold coast collisions and he drove it for 5 minutes and came back with a list of damages he thought was caused by my collision that Javier never even mentioned to me. Had Javier had my car looked at by a mechanic he would know that just bc there was no "witness marks" as the mechanic called them. That doesn't mean there is no damage. The mechanic noticed the car sounded different right away. So my car was returned from gold coast collisions damaged. And iv been paying Geico for 9 years for nothing. My advice. ALWAYS TAKE YOUR CAR TO THE MECHANIC YOU TRUST TO INSPECT IT. DO NOT USE THESE EXPRESSWAYS. I'd rate them a -10 if I could * They sell you on these expressways by offering a lifetime warranty If they fix the car. The catch is that they don't look for damage. This place sucks. After my car was involved in a accident we took it there because it was recommended by my insurance. We knew that it needed to be totaled but they said it could be repaired. After going back and forth with them and the insurance they attempted to fix it. After over $8000 worth of repairs they said was fixed. HA! What a joke. We had to keep taking it back because it wasn't driving right. After fighting with them and the insurance company we took it another shop and they said it should have totaled. DUHHH! These people not only gave me back a car that was seriously dangerous to drive but when finally offering to by the car from us ripped us off. The f$!#ed thing too is they are letting their customers drive that car as a loaner and it hasn't been fixed and is still very dangerous to drive. Be careful people.
