It just pop into my head that I have my gold wedding band and I also had my now deceased husband's gold band, I should be able to pawn (borrow) at least $150, right? Did quick research and Gold and Beyond was the winner! Since they're open 24 hours it was super convenient when I was able to walk in just before midnight! The young man working the window was knowledgeable and professional with a twist of fun personality, don't remember his name, sorry, but he was a cool dude. He asked me how much I was looking for and I just threw $150 out the because in California I had once needed to temporarily pawn my band alone and was only offered $50. My husband's band is a size 13 and double the weight of mine so I just guessed and said $150. To my surprise I was offered much more than I had expected! I really didn't know what to expect when walking in. They are pretty secured behind the plexiglass. I brought in a Hermes' sandals that cost over a thousand dollars that was given to me and a Valentino Baby Pink wallet also gifted to myself. The young man whose name is Derek helped me was very pleasant and friendly. He asked me how much did I want for them and shrugged my shoulders and said just make me happy. I wanted a little bit more for the Hermes' sandals but $230.00 will do to help pay for my expensive root canal and new crown. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I came in late night to get a loan on my 24k chain that weighed 75 grams. They did 20 different test scratching my chains up . Confirmed my gold was real. But couldn't approve loan because rocky the guy on the phone is an idiot. I appreciate the guy that was working there trying his hardest to get loan for me but his manager is an idiot. I recommend not coming here unless you want your time wasted. One hour waiting and them doing all type of nonsense. Gold and Beyond doesn't go beyond jewelry and high end luxury items. So not much beyond there. I went at midnight looking for a laptop charger because I forgot mine at home (300 miles away) and had to work in the morning. They weren't able to help me, but the lady was nice. The building looks nice from the outside. Never made it past the check in counter, so I can't speak on what the inside looks like. They have a lot of parking available. read more

I do not recommend supporting this business. Aside from the fact that they are not in a good location, items here are way overpriced. The LV Speedy they have is $1.00 less than a brand new one being sold at a Louis Vuitton store. Then it's wise to buy one straight from Louis Vuitton than come here. In fairness, Karen, the lady who helped me around was a really nice person. Thank you for your help, Karen! Before I came in, I read their online reputation and have read several reviews about people trying to sell an item purchased at the real brand store and was told it is fake. I had to come and see for myself. Mike, the guy at the window said my Louis Vuitton is fake. He claims he knows vintage, but does not even know the model or name of my bag. He portrays he knows Louis Vuitton, but the reality is he does not have the credibility. Mike, I suggest that you educate yourself on Louis before you open your mouth!
