Stay as far away from these two people as you possible can. I brought in gold coins to sell, Tony took the time to evaluate the coins for authenticity, negotiated a price with me for 38,500. He asked if I would take a check. I said no. Then he sent Becky his coworker to the bank to get cash, his wife to another bank to get more cash, added to cash on hand totaling 28,000. $10,500 short. He then returned two coins to me. Making me $2500 short from the negotiated price. He said if you come back tomorrow, he would have the rest of my money. I returned the next day and he pulled out two coins claiming they were ofake. Becky then ran a test on special machine showing the 2 coins did not meet specs. I then asked the year of the fake coins. Both were 2009 coins, but the coins I brought in the day before were 2013. At this point I knew I had been screwed. Both Becky and Tony appear friendly, but are very dishonest. read more

The owner is a hard negotiator - I don't think he was being truthful with his reasons when would counteroffer. It was quite annoying, as it puts you in a position where you have to call him out, but that might just come off as rude. But the thing is, even after i did, he wouldn't acknowledge or budge much. The spreads are huge nowadays 3-6 dollars, but he claims they're very thin, to lowball you on the price. Also, an annoying small thing he would do is tell me to stop rounding up, while he himself rounded way down, even though the spot price was way way way closer to the rounded up price. What do you think? If something is 50.92, would you call that 51 dollars or 50 dollars? obviously it's a lot closer to rounding up, 51. Plus, I wasn't even trying to "sneak" in anything extra. I was just using round numbers for rough ballpark calculations. Even when i point stuff out like this to him, he doesn't acknowledge or budge much, so you'll probably end up negotiating with someone in bad faith. He was lucky I didn't care TOO much. I bought a couple of 1922 Peace Dollars from a guy on Offer Up. I did all the test i know of to see if they were real or not and it seemed real. I still had a feeling though. So i called the shop and asked if they could test it. The guy on the phone said yeah. I took it down and saw Tony. I assumed he was the owner, cool guy. So I chatted with Toni about this and that while another very nice gentlemen, I didn't get his name, switched out my battery. Once my watch was ready, I went to hand my debit card over and was told they only take cash. They were so nice about it, they told me to just stop by later today or even tomorrow, when I had a chance to pay them! They were so friendly and kind!
