I would not recommend this group. I had a great experience with the previous owner (different…read morecompany name) for years. I stayed with them for a while after it was bought out, but they seemed far less interested in discussing my business and answering questions. They simply did the taxes and never seemed consistent in how they handled things. Therefore, I moved on to another firm and feel good about the decision.

First, I need to say that Yelp has this listed as an attorney/lawyer but is actually a Land…read moreSurveying company. Now to the review.... If you keep up with my reviews you know that I don't usually write reviews without 3 visits but being the type of business that it is, I can do this one with one encounter even though it took several visits and much communication. The Stutts staff from the top to the bottom have always been courteous and prompt. I have never had an issue that wasn't addressed in a timely manner and with a great attitude. This is really my first land acquisition and survey need so I didn't know what to expect. I will say that this process lies in more hands than just the surveyors. There are signatures that are required, recordings that need to be done, the city or municipality will need to be involved at some point plus some other things. It's not a quick process but for everything I needed, I feel it was completed quickly and without any problems. As for price, I went to 4 different companies and spoke to each one in person. Again my situation was a bit odd so I wanted to make sure the one I went with understood exactly what was happening. Each one gave me a quote before I left and they ranged from low to high with about $1500 in between. I don't usually pick the lowest price just based on price but usually some where in between based on knowledge and reputation. I had only seen a couple reviews of each location so it was hard to judge by that. After talking to Jody Stutts, I knew that he was the guy I needed for this job and unbelievably, he happened to be the cheapest but only by about $50 but still, it's $50. I got the right team and could not be happier with the end results. There will be no hesitation on my end if I ever need to do this again at who my first call will be and I recommend the same for you.

I don't think anyone wants to be in a place where they need to hire a lawyer, especially in…read morecriminal litigation. However, if you need to do that, you would be doing a major disservice to yourself by not hiring Chris Beechler with Beechler Tomberlin. Chris is by far one of the best white-collar lawyers I have ever met/hired. This is coming from someone who knows/works with some of the top entertainment/sports lawyers in the country and interacts with white-collar executives/A-list professionals. Chris demonstrates a C-suite level skill set, superb litigation knowledge, and white-glove professionalism. If that doesn't turn your head then his stats just might persuade you: - He made the top 2% of NC lawyers to enter the Rising Stars - for excellence in litigation. - He made the top 5% of NC lawyers to be accepted as a Super Lawyer. - for excellence and professionalism. - He was awarded the AV Preeminent - one of the highest awards to be received by lawyers. To top this off he is about 1 of 4 lawyers in NC that handles state & federal litigation issues - demonstrating a high level of expertise. Chris has a stunning court record. His impressive work on my case got him dubbed as the "Iron Man Lawyer". Chris expertly assessed my situation with care and sympathy. He understood it from start to finish and gave quality play-by-play actions that in the end, got impressive results. Of course, you have to follow his advice. He sets clear expectations and comes from the viewpoint of underselling and over-delivering. He WILL work around the clock for you and is never "unreachable". He treats everyone with the highest respect and professional care. He and the firm are a well-oiled machine and work beyond expectations. His paralegal Amy is amazing; demonstrating elite support that knocks it out of the park. If I know anything about great support, it is that in business, you're dead in the water if you do not have it. After the dust settled Chris and Amy didn't quit, they filed final motions to set me up for success before I even asked. Thanks, guys for your help. Sincerely
