When the IRS "changed" one return and fined me another $1,500 for the time he was sitting on my returns, he refused to do anything. He gave me a document that stated if there was a problem with the IRS he would handle it. Now, with 2 days left to pay the IRS an additional $1,500 he claims it was MY fault and he won't do a thing because I'M being unreasonable. According to his staff, he sat on my returns for months because he had medical issues. I believe his medical issues compromise his ability to complete tax returns. A new accountant wants $1,200 each to amend the 2 returns he completed.

Though it is ultimately MY responsibility, it was not Mark, the CPA, it was me me who said " what do we need to look at and do different so this won't happen again?".
