While she examined me she noticed the bump and stated that's a hernia. And she mentioned a doctor who specialized in hernia's by the name of Dr. David Burns. I told her I had scheduled an appointment shortly after my appointment with her with my regular doctor for him to look at it. Within a few hours I visited my regular doctor and he to stated it was a hernia. I showed him the name of the doctor my dermatologist mentioned and he said he had met him and suggested I try him. I came home and called his office and got an appointment on July 16th. I met Dr. Burns on the 16th, he said it's a hernia. I said you have been recommended by 2 other medical people and I'd like you to perform the operation. He directed me down the hall to his private secretary Veronica, and she sat with me went over the details and times available. My surgery was scheduled right then and there, August 8th. Everything went well. 19 days, everything said and done! I was pleased with Dr. Burns, Veronica, and the entire operating room staff. They were all professional and caring people.

I made an appointment with Regional Health and was assigned Dr. Celso Dios. He is a good Vascular surgeon. He looked at mine and determined I should have surgery in my right leg. One of the important things regarding this surgery is blood circulation. Got to keep the blood running, no clotting. My total surgery lasted approximately 1 hour.
