We worked with Zachary Starr at Moody Brown Law for over two years on a complicated custody and…read morelitigation case. It was one of the best decisions we made. My ex-wife tried to leave the state four separate times and kept trying to bypass court orders. Zack was steady and knew exactly what to do every step of the way. What impressed me most is how well he understands the local judiciary. He knows how the commissioners and judges in Utah County approach things, and that insight made a real difference for us. He shoots straight. He tells you exactly where you stand and what your real options are. No fluff, no false hope. Just honest, solid counsel. He is patient, considerate, and thorough in everything he does. He protected our son and our family through a really hard time and we will always be grateful. If you're looking for a family law attorney in Provo, Zack Starr at Moody Brown Law is the real deal. I'd recommend him to anyone. Zack cares deeply about his clients and about the money they spend. Many times he helped us avoid costly litigation, and I don't think I would have been nearly as lucky if I had had another attorney. My experience would validate that, unfortunately. I will always be thankful for everything this man did for our family .

I'm deeply grateful for her guidance through one of the most difficult chapters of my life--I can't imagine navigating it without her. Shortly after the divorce was finalized, I needed legal help again due to escalating issues with my ex's partner. Her behavior was aggressive and was negatively affecting my children. Grant and his team stepped in with clarity and strength. They advocated for my kids, and helped establish safety and stability for all of us. Over the past seven years, they've remained steady, validating, and genuinely supportive. There aren't enough words to express what their dedication, skill, and compassion have meant to me. In moments that were painful and emotionally overwhelming, their professionalism and care were truly invaluable.

I'd like to share my experience with Miller IP Services. I first discovered the firm through an…read moreonline search, and I was genuinely impressed by the website. Devin's profile conveyed a personable, approachable tone rather than the typical "corporate lawyer" style, which I think appeals to individuals seeking accessible IP support. During the free consultation, Devin was very responsive and clear. He explained the steps I needed to take, provided the required links, and once I completed the forms, I submitted payment. I also want to acknowledge that his fees are generally lower than those of many other IP attorneys. The issue arose later, when I asked follow-up questions and requested changes to what was a straightforward copyright application. The website does clearly state that the service includes no further questions and no further changes, so I take responsibility for asking questions after clicking "Submit Final." I fully admit this was my mistake. What I did not realize was that there would be financial consequences. My follow-up questions and change requests came after I had already confirmed "no further changes," and I do not dispute this. However, when Devin responded, he stated that a $200 restart fee would be required. I explained that I had been unaware of such a charge and offered $50, assuming it was a reasonable compromise. After my response, Devin decided to terminate the working agreement. Had the final confirmation page or any correspondence clearly stated that exceeding the allowed number of questions or requesting additional changes would trigger a $200 restart fee, or could result in immediate termination of the agreement, I would have been far more cautious. Instead, the agreement was terminated abruptly and without a prior warning about termination or the fee. I understand the need for efficiency and strict boundaries in a high-volume, flat-fee model. However, I believe it would be more reasonable and transparent to highlight any financial penalties or termination policies at the final confirmation step rather than relying solely on the general terms page. Based on Yelp's rating categories, I would classify my experience as "Could've been better." As for next steps, Miller IP will refund only the actual copyright filing fee, which is a small portion of the total payment. To be clear, I acknowledge that I contributed to the issue by requesting changes after clicking "Final." At the same time, I also feel it is unreasonable to impose a financial penalty or terminate the agreement without prior explicit warning in our correspondence or on the Final confirmation page. Throughout this process, our correspondence remained polite and professional. I wish Miller IP the best going forward.
