My boiler kept going out, and Marty (who is very personable, informative, and honest) was an absolute pleasure to do business with. He was very conservative with his approach, fixing the cheapest possible cause first. He ordered an expensive part and kept it in his, so in case the first round of repairs was not enough to fix the malfunction, he could come over quickly and get my heat back on without any delays. Luckily, that first thing wound up fixing the issue, and I didn't have to pay for what would turn out to be an unnecessary, much costlier repair. It doesn't hurt that the company has very customer-friendly policies: responsive 24 hour service (not just lip service), no diagnostic charge if a repair exceeds the cost of the visit, and no charge for any subsequent visits for the same problem within 30 days. Trustworthy, reliable repair is notoriously hard to find, but I've found it here!

Noah listened to me and heard my needs as well as really explained things well. Whereas the other two quotes just told me what to do, without any discussion, and I was not keen on their ideas. I called Semco, and they sent someone out right away (props to them as well) to investigate. After initially contacting another company and being made to feel like my situation was an inconvenience, I reached out to Michiana Heating & Air Conditioning. Michele, who answered the phone, was incredibly understanding, and I was very impressed with her excellent customer service. The technician, Mike, was equally outstanding--efficient, knowledgeable, and able to correct the gas leak at a very reasonable price. Both Michele and Mike are friendly, customer-focused professionals and true assets to the company, and I hope Michiana Heating & Air Conditioning knows just how valuable they are. Going forward, I know exactly who I'll be calling if a similar situation arises--and it will be Michiana Heating & Air Conditioning. A+++

Called Weaver around 6:45 am and spoke with a nice lady handling after hours calls. I explained to her the situation and she said they open at 7:30 am and they'd have someone out by late morning and she's call ahead to let us know when tech was on the way. The good news is she said our furnace was still under warranty, but we'd have to pay for labor. We received a call at 8:35 and she said their tech would be at our house by 9:00 am. Rick arrived just shy of 9:00 am, introduced himself, and said "let's get you some heat." I showed him to the furnace and he quickly diagnosed the problem: a seized up inducer motor. Not having one on his truck, he quickly drove to their parts warehouse and returned about a half hour later. He went the extra mile and performed some routine maintenance work on the furnace and replaced the motor. The furnace fired right up and he was out the door by 10:15 am. We chatted a little while he was performing the work. He was very professional, confident, upbeat and courteous. He took pride in his work, which is refreshing in today's world. Hold on to him and pay him accordingly! He's a major asset to the company. We've used Weaver the past 20 years and they've never disappointed. Marshall, the owner has a nice business. I highly recommend their services.
