Delicious delicious all around! There was a short line when we dined at 2:30 and it still remained when we left. For good reason! The spring rolls were just ok, not bad but nothing amazing. But the pho and bun bo hue were both very rich and flavorful. The BBH was a clear color yet bold and full of flavor and spice - amazing. One souring experience factor was being asked to tip at the end - no other restaurant in frankfurt asked us that.

I used the Yelp app to find a nearby restaurant to the JW Marriot. My husband and I both love Vietnamese food so we headed to Goc Pho-a quick and easy walk. Later we would realize there appears to be two parts to this restaurant-the market space on the corner or the basement (?) restaurant that we went to (I think they share a same or similar menu) which was a lovely space. The service was great (and they spoke English) as well as helpful in recommending dishes and drinks. All of our dishes were all delicious. Highly recommend and look forward to returning on our next visit.

Solid Vietnamese food and a very friendly staff. The pho noodles were very well cooked and the broth was delicious. The Bun Cha Hanoi pork belly was a bit dry.

Summer rolls (veg), must order!

3.7 stars It was is 89F degree day and this restaurant does have 1 fan but full of people even at 1:30pm. Very hot and stuffy inside. Chairs are hard and with no back support. Therefore if you are traveling, you don't get you back rested. Service is common to other Vietnamese restaurants, at this price point you can't ask for anything. Beef pho €10.5 -3.5stars- does have basil and small amount of bean sprouts which is yellow. Typical soup power taste you get from supermarket. Grilled Chicken rice €8.5 -3.8 stars- no tasted other than the fish sauce. No salt. If you are sick, or just off the plane and want something healthy, this is perfect! Chicken is tender and there is salad below which is refreshing. Vegetarian Summer rolls with tofu. €3.9 -5.0stars- best dishes! Maybe Vegan too? So healthy and full of favor! Everything is cut evenly and you can taste each favor. I saw many tables has mint lemonade drink. It would be refreshing to drink that in a hot day! I don't see any ice inside. I guess they don't have ice machines.

Summer rolls, Vietnamese coffee and beer.

After our recent restaurant experience, I came back to look for my review of this place and saw I never made one. We came back in August and this place was packed. Their lunch menu was pretty limited. Their summer rolls were fantastic and serving size made more sense for the size (compared to Vi Pho). I got the Com Ga Kho Gung (chicken, fresh ginger and rice) and my husband got the Pho. My husband said it was some of the best pho we've had here so far. Recommended it to friends since we can't find good pho in the local area. Curious to see what their dinner menu is like. Not sure we'd come back for lunch since their menu was pretty limited but what we had was good!

Bun Bo. Very delicious!! Lots of meat

Highly recommend this restaurant. I'm from Southern California and wanted warm soupy Vietnamese dishes on a snowy visit to Frankfurt. This place has honest and delicious Vietnamese dishes. Bun Bo, Banh cuon, and Banh Tom Chien were all very good. Very reasonably priced too.

Veggie (vegan) Pho!

Surprised to find Pho - not what I had planned for lunch. Place was packed when we showed up so figured that was a good sign. Opted for the #20 veggie Pho and a liter of water with mint, lime and cucumber. So - here are the details. Lots of rice noodles, bok choy and tofu. Tasty broth. Not too salty. After half a dozen or so forays into the pho with my chopsticks, I went for the siracha. That did the trick. Only thing missing would be some fresh jalapeño. Overall, really pleased with the food and the service. Still, going 4 instead of 5 as my table-mates claimed they got shorted on their tofu. Guess it was my lucky day. If you're looking for some good Vietnamese, or something vegan/vegetarian, something warm in cold whether or any combo of the above - check this place out!

Bun cha hanoi. What Obama ate

Came here on the recommendation of some Vietnamese exchange students. They said it would be authentic and my flavorful experience here did not disappoint. One of my heroes - the late great TV travel guide and writer Anthony Bourdain - consistently ranked Hanoi Vietnam as his favorite place to eat. In an iconic episode, he ate bun cha with Barack Obama on a couple of small plastic stools. Needless to say, I saw bun cha on the menu and had to get after it. Bun cha is a dish with thin noodles with pieces of meat on top served with greens and fish sauce. Simple and delicious. It's really the vietnamese flavors present in every bite - the lemongrass, cilantro, spice - that coalesce into a magically delicious dish. It was superb and it will definitely not be my last time eating bun cha.

Fried tofu rolls

It was raining when my fiend and I came and we wanted something to warm us up. We got the fried tofu rolls to start. They were crispy and the dipping sauce was *cheffs kiss* The food was delicious with both of us getting the pho (I got the spicy beef and for Europe it was spicy, she got regular) we both loved what we got and will be back.

Spring rolls with shrimps

When we came the restaurant was full, but we waited about 5 minutes to get our table, it was pretty fast. The food is tasty, portions are big and service is ok. One of my starters goes with shrimps and pork meet, but I am a vegetarian. Waitress proposed me to make this roll without meet, I like such kind of approach. I will be happy to visit them again.

This place was good. I had the special spring rolls which were really good and the shrimp curry also very good. I will certainly be adding this place to my regular rotation.

I was working in Frankfurt for a week and wanted to give the Viet food scene a try, to my delighted surprise, discovered this hidden gem. Goc Pho is authentic, using the best local ingredients in addition to valuing "sauces" the core of all viet food. The restaurant walking distance from the Westin Grand, it does get very busy so reaching out and making a reservation is highly recommended. In two visits i have tried, the Beef Pho, the Banh Cuon Thit, the eggrolls, and the Goi Cuon Tom Thit. This spot is a must try if your in Frankfurt and love Viet food. Coming from Norcal it was a delight to find this spot. Only thing is have patience, they are busy so sometimes things are either slow or delayed.
