    The female driver was driving dangerously & recklessly. Lots of tailgating and speeding. Would not recommend.

    This was my first experience calling upon this company for pick-up from the Manhattan KS airport…read morefor home delivery. It was one of two listed on the airport's website under Taxi, so I naively thought this meant that the service was reputable. True, the cab did arrive within the timeframe that was estimated (~10 minutes), but I felt that the driver was cold and unhelpful. He did not even attempt to get out of the vehicle to help me lift my two suitcases into the backseat. He watched as I clearly struggled. I am a 5 ft 8 in woman, average build. I was returning to KS after 3 business trips. The luggage was heavy. I also have significant neck and back problems, and had recently dislocated my shoulder. I did not count on having to lift the luggage myself, without any offer of assistance. When I finally did settle into the seat, I provided the address of my residence. The driver could not have been more disinterested. I asked him if he knew where that was. He said, "no". Then he proceeded to drive onward I asked if he needed me to pull up google maps; he said "no". That was the extent of his dialogue with me. Very uncomfortable cab ride. When I arrived at my home, and offered him a credit card, he glared at me. "We only accept cash," he said. I was mortified. I do not carry cash on me. I apologized profusely. I offered a check. He proceeded to drive me to an ATM so that I could obtain cash to pay for the services. He was cold and unfeeling. From the moment I got into his vehicle, I felt that he could have cared less. And then he acted like I was trying to cheat him. I'm sorry, but after spending the past 9 days on business where no cab service asked for cash, I didn't realize cash was needed. Perhaps that should be listed in the advertisement or on the online site. Or when I called to schedule the cab, that might have been nice to know. Instead, I was looked down upon like a thief. And then I had no choice but to withdraw $20 from an ATM that was not my bank, incurring a service charge of $2.25, to pay for a $15 cab ride. It would have been nice had he offered to make change. Again, I had to lift my luggage out of the vehicle in my driveway.... There was absolutely zero customer service. I did not feel appreciated as a customer. I am not inclined to ever use these services again.

I called them back and was told that they would be back by in about 30 minutes. 1 hours and 15 minutes later, they called back and again immediately hung on me. I called them back and they told me that they would be by in 30-45 minutes. I told them not to bother and they told me to call another cab company. "Call another cab company." -their words not mine.

He tells you that if you pre-pay you will get a better price, so you pay him to book your trip, but then he does not show up for your pick up! I work for a company that provides transportation for workers compensation patients. We reached out to him and worked out arrangements for him to take a regular patient of ours. We paid him in advance even though that is outside of our company policy as there are few transportation companies in the area. On 11/21 he confirmed a 12pm pick up for our patient. Our patient called and said that the driver is not there and when we called David to find out where the driver was, he kept making excuses - first there was a rain storm that is delaying the driver, then he couldn't get ahold of the driver, she had no cell service, she had to go get gas, excuse after excuse. After 40 mins of going around and around he then proceeded to say that he would not be able to pick up our patient after all, as it would now cause a ripple effect in his schedule and put all of his other transports behind - what? This driver was reserved from 12-5pm! Our patient would now not get to an important doctor's appointment where we also paid for an interpreter to attend as well. David promised that if we could get this appointment rescheduled he would PERSONALLY pick him up so that there would not be any issues. The appointment was rescheduled to 12/10 and he had agreed to apply the $600 that we prepaid him on 11/21 to this rescheduled trip. I have numerous text messages that went back and forth where he confirmed the new date and time. However, when the time came for pick up NO ONE SHOWED UP! He was unreachable by phone, text and email. I have not been able to reach him since, and he has refused to explain what happened or refund our payment despite multiple attempts to reach him. When our attorney reached out to the City of Topeka to file a formal complaint, we were told that SPEEDYS TAXI is operating a taxi business WITHOUT A LICENSE. I know transportation options may be limited in Topeka, but please do not use Speedy's Taxi. You will lose your money and you will not get picked up.

    This company is completely unreliable. DO NOT EVER USE THIS SERVICE! They have caused me a lot of…read moredamage. I had two good experiences with Roadrunner, also known as A-Rival. But in May I booked a ride from Lawrence to MCI and there system sent me a cancelled text 5 minutes before they were supposed to pick me up. I called repeatedly until someone answered, and they apologized and said they didn't have an available driver. I ended up spending $90 on an Uber. Two days ago I booked a reservation online, although the price was misquoted, and followed up by trying to call them to confirm. I was on hold for over 30 minutes each time I tried between 4pm and midnight. Finally I called a last time and got through to someone. I expressed my concern and they confirmed there would be a driver at my house at 6am. There was not. No message, nothing. I called and was on autohold for thirty minutes before I gave up. I missed my flight and the work. I am committed to discussing this matter with the company's person in charge and saving all of you the trouble that was caused to me.

Got in touch via chat about an hour later and they said they cancelled reservation and didn't charge card. That's all well in good but my son still needs ride to Fort Riley. He ended up having to pay over $160 in Uber to get him back to base. I'm one pissed off Army Mom!!!!
