We watched it being built and saw they would have RV/boat spots and inquired about pricing. Price was great and we figured that the price would increase a little in 6 months or so after they were no longer new; so we left our current RV storage and moved to the Space Shop. For 3 months we have parked our 25 foot RV there. The staff are great and very helpful- and we have enjoyed talking with them since we are there at least weekly. In the mail we received notification 19 days before rent due that prices are increasing. They raised the rent for an RV spot 150%. That's right- not a typo- 150%. I could see 25- 50% increase- as they were probably trying to fill spots when opening and were priced low. But to increase by 150% and give 19 days notice is not good customer service. I spoke with the staff about the increase and they were apologetic stating all went up and unfortunately no discounts are available. The location is great, parking is great, RV storage area is great, staff great; however- it does not justify the price they are now asking. Therefore we are leaving. Space Coast may contact us if they are lowering prices and we would be happy to return but the price they are requesting is too high for what is being offered and an equally as nice spot is just down the road on Old Kings and many others also on US1.
