I have Go Solar install the Solar panels and Inverter. I heard they were great. It has been little over a year and the Inverter stopped working. How cheap is that. I'm thinking good thing I have a warranty. The service technician said back in April they will replace it in ten days. We are at the End of May and still no Inverter. No status updates when calling only I don't know. What kind of company is this??? I feel I just got ripped off. I still have to pay for the Solar Panels. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY THEY DON'T KEEP TO THERE WORD OR WARRANTY. They do not provide good customer support. I rate them as a 2 read more

Bad business, got deposit from us but never came to the appointed date by the engineer as promised. Never followed up, and they claimed they sent email that the job was cancelled (and they kept our deposit) , BUNCH of LIARS!!!! Tried to contact them but they are great on finding excuses and not even giving what we wanted, ground mount. Procrastinated with the job until it passed 30 days so they don't need to give the money back. Just refund us Liars!!! Ralph read more

Go Solar has far exceeded any expectations I had for them by providing great service, friendly, insightful and knowledgeable staff, and explaining multiple processes in bite-size pieces so that I knew everything that was going on. They initially installed my solar array on my Salt Lake City home, but I was relocated 2 years later. They've been integral in retrofitting the system to my new Colorado home, as well as helping me upgrade the system and meet all of the electrical code requirements. Heard from different solar companies at work in a work sponsored "be healthier protect the environment" initiative. Read about solar often in Mother Earth News. Called a few companies with no response. I gave up on it for a while until a neighbor up the street went through Go Solar to install their system. They were hosting a Solar 'open house' of sorts. I went up and talked with them. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They confirmed everything I had read in Mother Earth News but offered a few cool things the companies I had heard from at work did not. -For starters Go Solar uses the German Panels which are 93% rather then the Chinese panels other companies are using which are only 80% efficient. -Putting solar on your roof effectively turns your house into a very small power station that is hooked up to the local grid. Great because you can draw off the grid if you need more power and feed into it if you are over producing, but not so great is the power goes out. When the grid goes down your solar system automatically turns off so you are not feeding power into a system that a repair tech is trying to work on. With every other company I had heard from you have no other options. Go Solar installs an in-line circuit breaker and a 110v outlet so you can still use your system during an outage. When your system goes down you run an extension cord to you refrigerator and your battery back up. Your food doesn't spoil and you get your battery charged up to run your fridge and charge you phones, etc. during the night. (We bought the li-ion battery. I tested it on my fridge and it powered my fridge for 9 hours and still had 85% power left when I stopped my 'test') -Lastly Go Solar was very friendly, in-touch with me during the entire install process(which for us took about 2 months because of weather and holidays), and has followed up several times to ensure we understand the system and it is running well for us. Our house is east facing and we installed 26 panels. We didn't need quite that big of a system but I only see our power needs increasing in the future and Heber Power is awesome and will buy any extra power we produce. During February our panels produced between 25 and 30 kW a day. It will do better as the days get longer and the sun's orientation changes but even now it is covering all of our power needs. The government Solar Tax credit is set to expire this year. Who knows if it will be renewed so if you are thinking about solar take advantage of the 30% credit and install you system this year. Go Solar was fast and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone looking into solar. P.s. I read the other review on here from the employee of another company about someone's system not producing correctly. Not sure what the deal was but we had a great experience with Go Solar and always take what sales men from competing companies say with a grain of salt. :o) read more
