Andrew assisted me when I picked up the rental car, and he was absolutely wonderful. I don't rent cars often, my husband used to handle that for us. (but since his passing, I've had to learn the process myself). Andrew was patient, kind, and walked me through every step. He set me up with a brand new 2025 model that was easy to operate and a pleasure to drive. After about 10 days, I returned the car and was pleasantly surprised to get Andrew again. He remembered me, greeted me warmly, and made the return just as easy as the pickup.     Ever get to a city and then realize that you need a car. That is exactly what happened to me on…read morethis trip. I got lucky that this location was a few mins away from where I was staying. I went online made a reservation and went to pick up my car the next morning. It was convenient that they opened early in the morning. When I got there there was only one other person in there renting a car but I was able to get service right away. The employees had fantastic attitudes, they were solution oriented, and they really focused on giving you great service. I was in and out of there in 10 mins to pick up the car. They even gave me an upgrade becuse the car that I had chosen online was not available. Then on the way to return the car, it was just as effortless. Right when I pulled up one of the employees came outside, asked me a few questions, checked the car, charged my car and I was done in less than 5 mins. It took me longer to wait for a uber to take me to the airport than it did to turn the car in. Great customer service, and it was quick and efficient.

After 3 hours we decided to go to the location to see if she could get her reservation. The man working at the location was visibly annoyed and frustrated with dealing with any customers. When we got our chance to speak with him he prefaced the conversation by stating that they prefer customers to not be present in the waiting area while they are working on fulfilling rental requests because they don't like dealing with customers facial expressions and scoffs when their expectations aren't met. We canceled the reservation and went with a company who doesn't treat you as an inconvenience.

Sintia was a well-oiled, one-woman show last Thursday morning a few minutes before 8am. She was pleasant to every customer and was efficient and worked with urgency without seeming rushed. She went over the details of my rental and did a nice walk around of the vehicle before sending me on my way. When I returned the vehicle yesterday, I had to drop the key with a quick explanation of my hurry to leave and she understood and acknowledged my return. She sent a nice text this morning to let me know everything was complete and my deposit was being refunded. Sintia is a class-act! Thank you!

They did not have the car I requested and the Jeep SUV offered to me was not acceptable. I would not be comfortable driving a SUV. I was told they had no other cars and I could possibly wait for another car to be returned...unfortunately I did not get the man's name..he was an older guy with black hair. My nephew went to ask if another auto was available at another location and he was rudely told I'm speaking only to Margaret since the reservation is in her name. I asked if he could call another location to see if a similar car was available and he said he didn't know any phone numbers. In the meantime my nephew got in touch with customer service and they directed him to your Doubletree Resort on Scottsdale Road who had a car available. Joshua couldn't have been nicer. We were treated courteously and were on our way within 20 minutes. When your representative found out my nephew called customer service he said he wanted nothing to do with it and you can just handle it yourselves. This was my first time even renting a car. Next time I will think twice about renting from Budget. I think that customer service was terrible and confirmed auto reservations should be honored. If nothing is available I think your representative should do all he can to locate a vehicle for us and not leave us to find one on our own.

    I had a very disappointing experience with this rental location…read more Upon picking up the vehicle and leaving the lot, I immediately noticed a red warning light indicating that the car had no oil. I contacted the location right away to ask for assistance, and was told they do not provide vehicle exchanges or support once you've left. I wasn't asking for a different car unnecessarily--the one I was given was clearly not properly maintained and unsafe to drive. I returned that vehicle and was issued a second one. According to the paperwork, the gas tank was listed as full--but it was not. A few days into the rental, I also discovered there was no windshield washer fluid in the vehicle, which I had to purchase myself. After having the car for four weeks, I returned it to the same location with a full tank of gas. I also clearly explained that the tank was not full when I originally received the vehicle. I was shocked to later receive an email stating that I had been charged a fuel recharge fee. I noticed this error immediately and attempted to contact the location directly, but was unable to get a response. When I escalated the issue to corporate, they said they were "willing" to make an adjustment. However, this is not a matter of adjustment--it is an incorrect charge. I even provided a gas receipt timestamped just 7 minutes before returning the vehicle. Despite everything that occurred--the unsafe initial vehicle, the incorrect fuel level, and the lack of basic maintenance--I was only offered a minimal adjustment that barely covered the washer fluid I had to purchase and the missing fuel from pickup. I have never had a negative rental experience before, particularly with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and regret not choosing them this time. I selected this Budget Car Rental location purely for convenience, but it was clearly a mistake. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location and carefully reviewing your receipt for any discrepancies. If you want, I can make a shorter version for a Google review or a more aggressive/firm complaint version too.

Enterprise messed up my reservation and I had to walk across the street to Budget/Avis and luckily found a car available for a one way trip within minutes. BUT, it turns out Expedia was wrong (again) and there were no one way cars available. Not only did Sherry go out of her way to find me a car for my trip, but she was also able to score me a better rate and explained to me a way to reduce my cost once I arrived at my destination for the remainder of my stay. I really appreciate how detailed she was and how much effort she put in to SAVING my trip. If it was not for her I do not think I could have gone to my vacation. Thank you so much! ** UPDATE, the next day I came across issues with the location in San Diego due to a miscommunication between both offices. Didn't have a lot of car choices, but I was renting the cheapest car they offered - $24 a day. I was disappointed with their service though. They seem to be understaffed at this location, only having one person working the counter. I returned the car on Friday afternoon/evening (they close at 6:00) and wanted a ride to another rental agency and was told they couldn't do it. (Actually they refused to do it) They had one driver and one agent on duty. If they are busy on Friday evening they should be better staffed. After spending $500 on a car rental I was extremely disappointed they would not give me a ride - first it was because they had a 5 mile limit (ok, that is what everyone does so I understand), but then it was because I was going to a competitor and if the driver took me there he wouldn't be available for the other customers! What the???? I was a customer, what difference does it make where I was going? Hertz is supposed to be #1, don't know in what, definitely not in customer service! I went to Enterprise where they had over 10 people working, super nice and very helpful. I won't use this agency again! Go elsewhere!

I finally called another number and was told that in order to change my reservation to get the amount shown online, the reservation needed to be cancelled and rebooked. I've modified my reservations before and have not had to do that. Also, the woman couldn't find the amount that was showing online. Her amount was about $3 more. Not a lot, but very annoying. I said go ahead and book the new reservation for the higher amount. When it appeared in my e-mail, it was for the lower amount. Customer service on the phone is terrible! One other time, I was charged more than the amount I had on my confirmation. No one could figure out why at the desk when I returned the car. I was told that it couldn't be changed, but eventually I was given a credit after I called customer service. It took some doing, but they did it and apologized. I do continue to rent from them, because their prices are lower than most, and the desk clerks have always been pleasant, but if I find something lower, I do not hesitate to use another company.
