Norwegian meatballs are a mix of potato, bread crumbs, ground beef, salt and pepper. They are very dense and large. The stewed peas are stewed green peas mashed with butter and sometimes sugar, salt and pepper. The potatoes are skinned and boiled in salted water as are the carrots. The brown sauce is a mixture of sour cream, butter, flour, and beef stock plus herbs and aromatics. The verdict? It was a huge plate and I was able to get two meals out of it. It was pretty tasty.
