My Italian Greyhound has always struggled with confidence, but he found a second home at Sitting Pretty. Since he started going, I've watched his confidence grow so much, and he has the best time every single visit. The staff is wonderful. All of the girls are incredibly sweet, genuine, and truly compassionate toward the dogs in their care. Ashley is extremely knowledgeable and is always willing to answer questions, offer advice, and share her expertise. The facility is always clean and well kept, with plenty of play equipment and multiple bowls of fresh water available. One of my favorite things about Sitting Pretty is how much outdoor time the dogs get. They have a beautiful turf area where they can run, play ball, and socialize. I'm so grateful we found this hidden gem and a place where I genuinely feel comfortable leaving my dog. Seeing how excited he is to go and how happy he is when I pick him up says everything. When I first came here, it was $45/day and a complimentary bath if the dog stayed there for more than five days. It's now very difficult to get a response when inquiring about availability. And, it appears the neighborhood is changing, and not for the better. In the past, the neighbors would shoot off fireworks on the weekends immediately before, during, and after July 4th. Now, it seems to be a regular occurrence. Many dogs cower with fireworks, and my Black Lab is no exception. I was supposed to pick up my dog tomorrow morning. Fortuitously, I came back a day earlier because my luggage was stolen. So, when I called about when to pick up my dog tomorrow, I was told about my dog's experience with the fireworks. I ended up having to pick him up this evening. Traveling these days is especially stressful, and I don't need the additional stress of worrying about a beloved pet. I never did before when I boarded my dog here, but I have over the last 3 times. I had been too busy to research another venue. But, now, I'm proactively going to find another establishment. In short, now, you can expect delayed responses on inquiries, multiple expectations on when YOU can show up to drop off or pick up your dog, and a equivocation on what they will and will not provide. On the other hand, bills for service-- although often error-probed-- are delivered with stunning alacrity. It pains me to write this review. Nevertheless, I have seen a huge decline in the service that precipitated 2-3 years ago while the prices continued to rise. (To wit, look at reviews that have been 5-9 years ago, and those within the past 3 years. Something has changed.) The constant firework explosions in the neighborhood only add to further disappointment. Alas, as George Harrison once sang, "all things must pass."

They also offer boarding and training. It has been more than a year since I started having Baby groomed by our regular groomer. Recently, I suddenly became unwell and needed to undergo some medical testing, and unfortunately, our regular groomer was off that day. Another staff member kindly took care of Baby instead. What impressed me even more was that our regular groomer had left very detailed written instructions for the staff regarding Baby's haircut and grooming. I could see how carefully he communicated Baby's needs, even when he was not there himself. It was such a professional and thoughtful way of handling things, and it made me trust the salon even more. Baby has a very challenging triple coat, which makes bathing and grooming more difficult than usual. We have always discussed the style together, and for more than six months now, we have been happily keeping the same haircut. If you are looking for a grooming salon, I would recommend this place without hesitation. The staff are wonderful, the environment is clean, and most importantly, I feel completely comfortable leaving my Baby in their care. Luckily, we stumbled upon Lisa here on Yelp and decided to give her a shot; we think we made the right decision! Lisa was very accommodating to our schedule, and being that this was our first time away from Haru since adopting her, we were understandably a bit worried (and probably a bit overzealous with our care instructions for Haru!). But Lisa was very understanding, and she gave us updates every day, along with some photos. While Haru was wary of Lisa in the beginning, it was nice to see her warm up to her over several days. Lisa is pleasant, professional, very knowledgeable about animals, and she clearly cares about the pets left in her charge. We felt extremely confident leaving Haru in her capable hands, and if we ever need petsitting services in the future, Lisa will be the first person we call.

I brought my pug, Chloe, in on Thursday 4/23 at 4pm. I've used their $80 grooming service three times prior with no issues. This visit was a completely different experience. I was told the service would take about 50 minutes. When I arrived, the groomer was still not finished, and I waited an additional ~20 minutes. The groomer (I believe his name was Drew) explained that he had cut one of Chloe's nails too short, which caused it to bleed for an extended period. I was obviously concerned, but still paid and left a tip and left. Since that visit, Chloe has developed multiple bumps across her body that appear to be a reaction to the products used. She has been extremely itchy, reluctant to walk, and has had a decreased appetite. This has been ongoing for several days. I reached out to the business to address this, especially as some of the bumps began to look worse. Despite explaining the situation, they declined to take any responsibility. I was also told they rotate between different grooming products depending on the groomer, which was concerning given that Chloe had no issues during her previous visits. I explained that I may need to take her to the vet due to the severity of her symptoms and that I didn't feel comfortable covering both the grooming cost and potential vet expenses given the outcome. Their response was that they would not provide a refund and the only thing offered was to return the $10 tip. Based on the other negative reviews, it appears that the owner is hard to work with and also lacks accountability. If you look at the attached screenshots, i still decided to disengage when she mentioned she was expecting. Regardless, she should have delegated her business to someone else while she is going through something extremely important while instead coming off as dismissive and lacking empathy. I'm very disappointed with how this was handled. Additionally, it took multiple days to confirm my appointment, and I had to follow up the day before to ensure it was still scheduled. Based on this experience, I would not return. Take a look at the screenshots and you be the judge.

Its nice because our dogs were senior, they usually were done pretty quickly. Now our one remaining boy goes by himself and comes out looking fresh and young. The staff at 4 Dogs Grooming are very caring and considerate with our dogs, and if we get another dog, we'll be definitely be using them way into the future.
