I couldn't get it from Indigo unless I either found a copy at locations other than my local one, or ordered it for home shipping for a fee. I finally found it available on the shelf at Cornerstone Bookshop. Their website is very user friendly. The extent of information provided and the friendly tone made it a pleasure to use. I was able to place my order for pickup, and could even defer payment until coming in at the store to pick it up. I was also able to add notes, where I could indicate that someone else would be picking it up on my behalf. I got my order confirmation immediately, and the notification that it was ready for pickup within a few hours. I was concerned about parking as it's near Yonge St. on Finch Ave. W., but that was no problem because they have their own private parking. There are also side streets that allow parking not too far away in case you want to avoid Yonge St. completely or it turns out to be full. My husband completed the pickup easily and quickly. Also, for some reason, the price was $24.99 instead of $28.99 everywhere else. I wish I lived closer to them, or that they had other locations. Compared to the miserable experience I've had looking for and shopping at Indigo recently, I'd shop here exclusively if I could. Highly recommend this retailer.

This is a pretty huge Chapters or Indigo or whatever the name is these days. It's clean and all the staff are really friendly but not follow you around, in your face kinda friendly. I don't need friends like that. That is what family is for :) I also love to browse all the little gadgets and accessories section. They have some cute Kate Spade items, as well as candles, jewellery, kitchen items. They have some really nice engraved (initials in script form) cheeseboards as well as gold lettered initial mugs. Makes great gifts and gives it that personal touch. I also bought a gorgeous faux fur scarf. I'm in love every time I wear it. I love their huge discount section as I love to read and buy books often. But I also like to pay my mortgage and eat so I can have both my cake and eat it as well here! Possibly the least helpful sales associates I've ever come across. I ended up calling Chapters at John and Richmond myself after leaving the store flustered and irritated, asking the EXACT same questions and had an answer in less than a minute. The store is organized by category so things are easy to find. They have quite a large book selection, educational and board games, dolls, cars & trucks, building toys, and outdoor things like wagons. I didn't really have anything to get that day, but who doesn't like to pop into a toy store once in a while just to look around?

Inventory is constantly changing and they do major purges at regular 'sidewalk' and clearance sales. It was super packed so decided to just go again the next day. Went the next day right at opening as Clifford was there for photo taking. The store was really big. They moved from the upper level to the lower level and also closed down the location near First Markham Place. They had mini cake samples from Daan Go Cake Lab. Their cakes are always bomb! There is a daan go cake vending machine set up there so you can order cakes and drinks conveniently which I found pretty cool.
