Delightful freshly baked bread, hidden in the suburbs of Pasong Tamo!
Our very own Mrs. Fields, Ginang Bukid bakes bread and pastries in her kitchen inside a building along Sabio Street in Pasong Tamo. Honestly, you will never find her unless you know of her. There is no signage outside to tell you the location of her kitchen.
She joins the Saturday Salcedo Market and has a stall there. But for people who hold office in the neighborhood, Ginang Bukid is a good source of sandwich lunch. My own personal favorite is the beef brisket in beer bread.
What kind of bread does she offer? Pandesitos, spanish bread, whole wheat loaf, rye, honey multi-grain, brioche, ciabatta and foccacia. She also offers rum cake, and many different variants of cupcakes and muffins.
Ginang Bukid also has home-made sugar-free peanut butter and other jams, plus coffee beans and coffee grounds.
Where to find her? She is located inside the building beside the gates of Finders Keepers / Black Market, across the Campaigns & Grey and Visual Light Studio compounds. read more
