You probably know the story behind Aldi and its brethren store, Trader Joe's? If you don't, you…read moreshould. The only reason Aldi gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are out of products at times and they have something a couple of times and then it's gone forever. Also, there is basically zero customer service. They run on a bare bones staff even on the weekends. Sometimes you catch someone putting out stock and then you might exchange pleasantries with the cashier. If you want friendly customer service, this isn't necessarily the place. I'm a huge Trader Joe's fan but I also shop Aldi even though it's less because they won't put one in my neighborhood. If you've shopped both, you know one difference is cost. While not the posh experience of shopping at Trader Joe's, Aldi is more cost friendly. I go to Aldi for certain products and just to see what they might have because at times you find a product and then never see it again. Some products you can usually find are basics. Heavy cream is about half the price of any other grocer. Cheese, coffee, and sometimes fruits and veggies and even meat is very competitive on cost. And everything is good. I am also able to get some keto selections here. Bread, bars, ice cream, and my new find on this trip, keto hamburger buns! I wish they would add more. This location had a good supply of items but as with all Aldi's, you don't know what they may have or not that day. If you have never shopped at Aldi, 2 important tips: 1. Bring your own bags (unless you want to buy their bags, about 10 cents each) or you will have to find a box from their stock. They put them out in bins in the store for you to dig through. Sometimes pickings are slim. 2. Bring a quarter. You will need this to unlock a buggy if you need one (you probably will). When you return the buggy properly, you get your quarter back. I enjoy shopping at Aldi and it is less expensive! Just be prepared for the type of shopping experience and you won't be disappointed and will enjoy the savings!

They renovated last yr. In 2020 so it's a lot nicer on the inside!…read more The variety of products is still limited-you get a couple options of Ranch but not an array like you'd get from Publix or other grocery stores. I bought Publix store brand Ranch and it was still 0.50 more compared to generic Ranch from Aldi. This place is very budget friendly. Fruit and veggies are my Go To - you need to inspect carefully because sometimes they are spoiled already due to being in non refrigerated section. Aisles are wider now & you need a quarter to deposit for your shopping cart - pretty cool. Return the cart to get your money back. Reusable bags encouraged since they don't bag your stuff or buy paper bags there. An alternative is that you can find empty boxes to store your stuff which is what I do!

Over the last few months, my anxiety has gotten increasingly worse despite the fact that I have…read moremaxed out on my control medication and have been taking my rescue (Xanax) with more frequency (2x daily). I had already started doing research on CBD but wanted to try to find a place locally so I could talk to someone about the variety of options. A few days ago I finally reached a breaking point with my anxiety and started searching for places in the area and out of all the options available, I was drawn to The Smoke Bodega because a number of their reviews raved about how knowledgeable and helpful the owners were. While we waited to be helped, one of the owners (Aileen) was working the counter and greeting customers with familiarity asking how they liked a previous purchase, telling them something they liked was in stock, etc. When she started working with us I immediately felt at ease with her. We discussed my anxiety and my concerns with certain options. She let us try a sample of the flower she was recommending as we spoke which gave me time to see how I would react to it. For the first time in a long time, I felt relaxed and at ease. I honestly couldn't tell you how long we were there but the more we spoke with her, the clearer it became that she's extremely passionate about helping people. She's truly vested in pairing you with products that suit your needs as well as your preferences. The flowers Aileen recommended (Berry Blossom & Russian Automatic) have helped me immensely with both my anxiety and my insomnia. I've been waking up feeling more rested and I'm not having to take 100mg of diphenhydramine (Benadryl/Unisom) just to get myself to fall asleep at night. The GreenTree Naturals 500mg Vape Oil (Beach Baha flavor and made locally) and Sourin Drop Pod have been a complete lifesaver for me at work. My job is fairly stressful and the chronic stress was causing a noticeable increase in my anxiety. While I'm not 100% better, I haven't had to take a single Xanax since I started using the CBD products. The Smoke Bodega is so much more than a business to her and I felt genuinely excited for her as she talked about her future expansion plans and other areas of the market she's pursuing. It's been a few days since we went to see Aileen and I am so incredibly grateful that I found her and her store. She has found a forever customer in me and I look forward to her future growth!
