Over the last few months, my anxiety has gotten increasingly worse despite the fact that I have maxed out on my control medication and have been taking my rescue (Xanax) with more frequency (2x daily). I had already started doing research on CBD but wanted to try to find a place locally so I could talk to someone about the variety of options. A few days ago I finally reached a breaking point with my anxiety and started searching for places in the area and out of all the options available, I was drawn to The Smoke Bodega because a number of their reviews raved about how knowledgeable and helpful the owners were. While we waited to be helped, one of the owners (Aileen) was working the counter and greeting customers with familiarity asking how they liked a previous purchase, telling them something they liked was in stock, etc. When she started working with us I immediately felt at ease with her. We discussed my anxiety and my concerns with certain options. She let us try a sample of the flower she was recommending as we spoke which gave me time to see how I would react to it. For the first time in a long time, I felt relaxed and at ease. I honestly couldn't tell you how long we were there but the more we spoke with her, the clearer it became that she's extremely passionate about helping people. She's truly vested in pairing you with products that suit your needs as well as your preferences. The flowers Aileen recommended (Berry Blossom & Russian Automatic) have helped me immensely with both my anxiety and my insomnia. I've been waking up feeling more rested and I'm not having to take 100mg of diphenhydramine (Benadryl/Unisom) just to get myself to fall asleep at night. The GreenTree Naturals 500mg Vape Oil (Beach Baha flavor and made locally) and Sourin Drop Pod have been a complete lifesaver for me at work. My job is fairly stressful and the chronic stress was causing a noticeable increase in my anxiety. While I'm not 100% better, I haven't had to take a single Xanax since I started using the CBD products. This is the Coolest dispensary It doesn't just provide CBD it also takes care of those that have a cannabis card. The owner is extremely nice and she has a variety of CBD choices, wraps and very authentic flavored flowers. Well I dont understand how you guys are buying any THC or real CBD ? Its not a dispensary....not licensed for REAL CANNABIS CARE....I'll repeat, not a dispensary. Buyer beware. This place is not friendly or helpful. They have a no refund policy that is not advertised if you buy the wrong thing. The manager is just grossly incompetent and rude. No masks are worn by employees and are not required for customers. Save yourself the headache and go to Wrecked on Waters Ave. if you want help and great customer service with a mask on. Just another shout-out to The Smoke Bodega for hooking Winston up. Winston had a supply of pain medication, but has been in so much pain even after finishing his script. The stupid Emergency Vets we went too obviously can't correctly put on a splint as we have had to rush back to get another put on several times and the adhesive was literally ripping his skin. Lydia & I ended up removing the crap and placing a spoon splint ourselves, as well as cast padding to protect his irritated skin. Doxies have the shortest legs so a cast is nearly impossible to stay on! I wrapped it around his shoulder after giving him a little baby bath ( always cheers him up, I swear he loves the bath ) but he was still not himself. His legs were shaking, he was just miserable! I gave him 2 sprays and he wanted more which is awesome that he liked the taste and it wasn't a struggle. He hasn't been sleeping or eating well the past few days and I can tell he's just been blah all around. Last night he ate his dinner without me having to coax him and he was sound asleep!!! I had high hopes for this place but they just seem like another business trying to take advantage of people. Saw that their little one hitters sell for $10 but you can find them in Ybor for $2. The owner must be losing at the track if even what should be their cheaper items are three times their regular price.
