I didn't feel rushed to get out of the store, or feel like it was a hassle/chore being inside. The workers were in good spirits on vibing with the atmosphere. The bakery and meat market was great. I couldnt ask for a better layout, where some Whole Food locations have the bakery and the breads in separate areas, this one had all breads, tortillas, deli, and meats in one area (PERFECT).

Whole Foods is now transformed into Christmas tree farm for the holiday season. You'll find more…read moreexciting holiday items inside - advent calendars, seasonal Apres ski pour Veuve Clicquot champagne, the hygge game, and more. I've visited this location many times and especially find it festive during the holiday season. AMBIANCE: This location is a standard WF store - spacious and clean. The store is also organized like other WF for convenience. I prefer it to the University Heights location. FOOD: Food selection is excellent and everything looks fresh! I found some items here that aren't available at my frequented University Heights destination. For instance, fresh breads you can pack yourself, plenty more smoked salmon options, liverwurst, chestnuts, and plenty of hot foods. During my last visit I picked up just a few favorites - smoked salmon, rotisserie chicken, baked bread, liverwurst, and some hot foods. I was very pleased with how easy it is to find everything especially later in the day. Typically, hot foods, bread, and rotisserie chicken are hard to find later in the day. The prices at Whole Foods are on the higher end. The ambiance and quality make it well worth it. SERVICE: The service is okay. The employees are selectively nice. Lines are usually long during busy shopping days like weekends. COFFEE SHOP: I've never had coffee inside the Whole Foods until today. I was very sleepy and needed a pick me up, wasn't in the mood to seek out a coffee shop. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of coffee drinks like lattes and seasonal offerings. I selected drip coffee, which was $2.75 for a large. I was very happy with this cup of coffee - not too acidic, flavorful, and awakening. CHRISTMAS TREES: There are plenty of Christmas trees - $29.99 for table trees, and $69.99 for regular trees. Table trees were not very lush, but many people were purchasing them. There are plenty of choices here so that you don't have to make a journey to a farm or other market. I enjoy my visits to this store. I look forward to stopping in again soon. Next time I'll try seasonal caffeine drinks!

The one man that works here must be actively trying to make sure no one ever comes back into this…read moreparticular GNC. Either that or he is completely unaware of how to appropriately treat potential customers. I have two close friends who have been treated with total disrespect here, to the point where I tell people to avoid it at all costs! My friend Jill and I went into this GNC the other weekend to see if they had the vegan preworkout we use in stock. We couldn't find it on the shelves, but they carry other products from the same brand so we figured we would ask to see if they would be getting any of the preworkout in any time soon. After we asked the man at the counter our question, he rudely told us to hold on because he was currently busy. After he finished what he was doing he gestured to one of the walls and muttered "preworkout is over there." I couldn't believe he wasn't even willing to walk us over to the wall, he just pointed. Next, we asked about particular brand we were looking for, to which he responded "We don't have it, but there are plenty of others over there." We let him know that we were vegan so we needed the particular brand. He then went on the tell us that we were too "picky" and if we weren't so particular we wouldn't have an issue. Naturally, we left immediately. A few days later I was talking to another friend of mine about what happened, and to my disbelief he also had been treated rudely at this GNC. He was looking for a particular supplement that he has purchased at other GNC locations. When he saw it wasn't on the shelves he asked the man behind the counter if they carried it. The man rudely responded "Did you see it?" "No." " Well then obviously we don't have it." My friend asked if he could call the surrounding GNCs so see if they had it in stock. The worker responded very coldly "I know they don't carry it. GNC doesn't carry that. If you want to call you can, but I'm not going to." Well, my friend left and drove to the next GNC. Naturally, they had it in stock. This man is awful and totally ruins the entire experience for anyone who goes in there.

I've been eating healthier and so I had been searching for a nearby spot that could cater to my new dietary needs. Enter Parma Nutrition. It's a small little spot in a pretty quiet strip mall on pearl, honestly I must have passed it four times before realizing it was there. The inside is white and clean, minimal seating which was kind of a bummer because I had to take my shake to go but I won't ding them. The girl, I didn't her her name (I'm sorry!!) was super helpful, explained the process and the nutrient components of each thing. You do a tea and a shake combo, or you can split it with someone. I got a cake batter shake and it was absolute heaven. Made with Herbalife which I'm very familiar with and I know that Macro wise it fits right into my allowances daily. Really my only faux pa was the seating and that I feel like the menu should be big and clear to see, instead they have a little laminated sheet with their inventory and not for nothing it was a little annoying. The music was on point and the atmosphere was perfect. All in all I really think they have potential to do some awesome things, maybe think about adding some small wraps or salads. Having the macros would also be helpful because I feel like most clients who are going there are health conscious and possibly counting calories or carbs.
